MP7 | Fade (Minimal Wear)
The MP7 | Fade (Minimal Wear) is a Restricted SMG skin with airbrushed color spreading across a chrome base coat. Minimal Wear keeps that color transition vivid while sitting a step below the top grade on price.
Design
Transparent paint is airbrushed on and allowed to blend over bare chrome, so the bright metal underneath shapes how the color reads rather than a printed graphic sitting on top. Valve put this finish together, and it ships with a line that fits the theme: "This isn't just a weapon, it's a conversation piece."
MP7 | Fade (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
The finish is capped at a 0.25 float, so Minimal Wear sits just under the ceiling for this skin — there's no Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred grade to speak of. At this level the fade still looks lively, with only the lightest softening compared to a Factory New copy.
MP7 | Fade Rarity
Rarity: Restricted. That's the purple grade, positioned one tier under Classified on the standard weapon scale, and a genuinely solid pull.
MP7 | Fade Case and Collection
The finish comes out of The 2018 Inferno Collection, which arrived alongside the FACEIT 2018 update back in September 2018. There's no dedicated case behind it — copies circulate through Inferno Collection trade-ups and collection drops instead.
MP7 | Fade Percentage
Because this is a fade finish, the paint seed decides exactly how far the color sweep reaches across the chrome, so coverage isn't identical from one copy to the next. There's no verified "best" seed or percentage on record for it, so don't trust a flat number claim — an inspect link on the actual listing tells you more than any generic figure.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There's a regular version and a Souvenir version of this finish, but no StatTrak MP7 | Fade exists. The London 2018 Inferno Souvenir Package was the first place Souvenir copies turned up, and additional Major souvenir packages tied to Inferno have followed in the years since, so a Souvenir copy always traces back to a tournament drop rather than a case.
MP7 | Fade Price
Minimal Wear lands just under Factory New on the Fade's price ladder, a slightly gentler cost for a look that's nearly as bright. It's still a grail-tier finish for the MP7, just not quite the very top of it. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How different does Minimal Wear look from Factory New on the Fade?
Very little separates them visually. Both sit near the low end of a 0–0.25 float range, so the color sweep looks nearly as sharp on Minimal Wear as it does on Factory New, just for a somewhat lower price. Most buyers won't notice the gap without close inspection.
Is there a Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred MP7 | Fade?
No. The finish never rolls a float above 0.25, so Field-Tested is as rough as it ever gets — Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred copies simply don't exist for this skin.
Is Minimal Wear a good value pick for the Fade?
It's a reasonable middle ground. You get color that's close to the Factory New look for less money, though Field-Tested trims the cost further if budget matters more than squeezing out the last bit of brightness.
