MP7 | Groundwater (Well-Worn)

MP7 | Groundwater (Well-Worn)

The MP7 | Groundwater (Well-Worn) is a Consumer Grade SMG skin with a solid olive drab spray, a memento from Cache, shown here more heavily worn. It's a more budget-conscious way to own a finish that otherwise runs pricey.

Design

Parts of the weapon carry a solid olive drab spray paint job, a plain military-surplus look that traces back to its origin as a Cache map memento. Valve made this finish, which comes with a matching flavor line: "Never take victory for granted."

MP7 | Groundwater (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

This finish's float is capped at 0.8 rather than the full 1.0, so even Well-Worn stays short of the most extreme damage. Clear scuffing and paint thinning show across the surface here, dulling the olive coat noticeably.

MP7 | Groundwater Rarity

Rarity: Consumer Grade, the lowest standard weapon tier — though this memento's real-world scarcity outpaces that label by a wide margin.

MP7 | Groundwater Case and Collection

Tied to The Alpha Collection and the Cache map, this finish goes back to Operation Bravo in September 2013 and has no case behind it — memento supply only.

MP7 | Groundwater Patterns

Every copy shows the identical olive drab spray, with no seed variation and no rare pattern to look for on this finish. Wear is the only meaningful difference between copies.

StatTrak & Souvenir

No StatTrak or Souvenir edition exists for this skin — it's regular-only. Souvenir versions only come from Major-tournament packages, and this finish has never been part of one.

MP7 | Groundwater Price

Well-Worn sits near the bottom of this finish's price ladder, giving up surface condition for a somewhat lower cost on an otherwise grail-tier memento. It's still pricier than most MP7 skins at any grade. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How much does Well-Worn cheapen the Groundwater?

Some, but not dramatically — since this finish's memento status keeps demand and price high across every grade, Well-Worn is a modest discount rather than a bargain compared to Field-Tested.

Does the Groundwater ever look extremely trashed?

No. Its float caps at 0.8 rather than 1.0, so even Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred stop short of the harshest wear other skins can reach. The olive coat dulls but never fully disappears.

Why buy a worn memento instead of a cheaper skin?

Because a Cache memento carries a kind of collector cachet that a regular, currently-obtainable skin doesn't — even a worn copy of the Groundwater holds value tied to its fixed, no-longer-active supply.
