MP7 | Olive Plaid (Battle-Scarred)

MP7 | Olive Plaid (Battle-Scarred)

The MP7 | Olive Plaid (Battle-Scarred) shows the same beige and olive green plaid hydrographic in its roughest available state. It's the cheapest way to add this finish to a loadout.

Design

Beige and olive green plaid runs across the body in a hydrographic finish, a quiet, camo-flavored look rather than anything eye-catching. It's a Valve design, and it carries an in-game line from Rona Sabri: "I like it. It brings out my eyes on camera..."

MP7 | Olive Plaid (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

Olive Plaid's float tops out at 0.58, meaning even Battle-Scarred, its worst grade, stays noticeably milder than a skin whose float runs the full range to 1.00. Expect heavier fading and scuffing across the plaid grid than any other grade offers, but the wear stops short of the most extreme condition seen elsewhere in the game.

MP7 | Olive Plaid Rarity

Rarity: Consumer Grade — the white tier, the most common rarity a weapon skin can carry.

MP7 | Olive Plaid Case and Collection

Olive Plaid is part of The Baggage Collection, which came out with Operation Breakout in July 2014. It has no dedicated weapon case, so copies are picked up through collection drops or trade-up contracts.

MP7 | Olive Plaid Patterns

Since the plaid grid never varies between copies, Olive Plaid has no random pattern or blue-gem seed to chase. Wear and float alone set one copy apart from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

No StatTrak MP7 | Olive Plaid exists — the finish only comes in its regular form. There's no Souvenir version either, since Souvenir weapons are only distributed through Major-tournament packages, and this finish was never featured in one.

MP7 | Olive Plaid Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade on the Olive Plaid ladder, sitting below every other wear. It's the entry-level way to own the design, and it's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Olive Plaid still recognizable?

Yes. Despite the heavier fading and scuffing, the beige-and-olive grid is still readable in-game. Battle-Scarred trades a cleaner look for the lowest possible price rather than losing the design entirely.

Why doesn't Battle-Scarred look fully trashed here?

Because the finish's float caps at 0.58 instead of the full 1.00, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear other skins can show. It looks used, but not as ragged as a skin with an uncapped float range.

Is Battle-Scarred the best budget pick on the MP7?

Among Olive Plaid's own grades, yes — it's the cheapest way to get the plaid design into your loadout. Combined with the finish's already-common Consumer Grade rarity, Battle-Scarred makes this one of the most affordable MP7 finishes available.
