MP7 | Orange Peel (Battle-Scarred)

MP7 | Orange Peel (Battle-Scarred)

The MP7 | Orange Peel (Battle-Scarred) shows the orange stencil design in its roughest available condition. It's the most affordable entry point into an otherwise high-end MP7 finish.

Design

Orange spray paint applied over a masking-tape stencil gives the finish its irregular, hard-edged texture rather than a smooth coat of color. Valve created it, and it carries the in-game line: "True power is demonstrated with subtle application."

MP7 | Orange Peel (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

The finish's float caps at 0.80 rather than the full 1.00, so even Battle-Scarred stays a bit milder than the most extreme wear other skins can show. Expect heavy scuffing and a faded, worn-in orange tone here, with the stencil edges softened but still visible.

MP7 | Orange Peel Rarity

Rarity: Industrial Grade, the light blue tier — a fairly common grade among standard weapon skins.

MP7 | Orange Peel Case and Collection

Orange Peel belongs to The Mirage Collection, which released in November 2013. It has no weapon case, so copies are sourced via collection drops or trade-ups.

MP7 | Orange Peel Patterns

Because the stencil pattern is identical on every copy, there's no rare paint seed or blue gem to hunt for with Orange Peel. Wear and float remain the only differences between copies.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There's no StatTrak version of this finish. A Souvenir version does exist, first handed out in the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package with more added at later Major-tournament packages, on top of this regular finish.

MP7 | Orange Peel Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade on the Orange Peel ladder, making it the most budget-friendly way to own an otherwise high-end, grail-tier finish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Orange Peel still worth buying?

For players who want the design at the lowest possible cost, yes — the stencil shapes stay visible despite the heavy scuffing and faded orange tone. It won't have the sharp look of Factory New, but it delivers the same design identity for far less.

Why doesn't Battle-Scarred look completely trashed here?

Because the float caps at 0.80 instead of reaching a full 1.00, Orange Peel's Battle-Scarred copies never hit the most extreme wear level possible in the game. The look is rough but not as ragged as some uncapped skins get.

Is Battle-Scarred the cheapest way to own the MP7 | Orange Peel?

Yes, it's the lowest grade on the finish's price ladder. Given how much of a grail-tier pick Orange Peel is overall, Battle-Scarred is the most accessible route for buyers who want the design without the higher-grade price tag.
