MP9 | Dart (Battle-Scarred)
The MP9 | Dart (Battle-Scarred) is the roughest available condition of this black and gray chevron hydrographic finish. It's the cheapest way to add the Dart's design to a loadout.
Design
Black base panels meet gray hydrographic stripes in a chevron arrangement, giving the SMG a lean, tactical read. This is a Valve-made finish, paired with the in-game line "Throw enough downfield and you're bound to hit the bullseye eventually."
MP9 | Dart (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Battle-Scarred is the top of the Dart's float range, but that range caps at 0.46 rather than the full 1.00 scale, so this grade never reaches the heaviest damage other skins show at Battle-Scarred. Expect visible scuffing and paint loss on the gray panels, similar in severity to a rough Well-Worn copy rather than a fully trashed finish.
MP9 | Dart Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the entry blue tier below Restricted, Classified, and Covert — the most commonly produced grade from any case.
MP9 | Dart Case and Collection
This finish is part of The Vanguard Collection and comes from the Operation Vanguard Weapon Case, launched with Operation Vanguard in November 2014. Mil-Spec skins account for roughly four-fifths of that case's drops, making Dart one of its more routine pulls.
MP9 | Dart Patterns
The chevron stripe artwork is fixed and identical on every copy of this finish, so there's no seed variation, no rare pattern, and no blue-gem version to hunt for. Wear grade and float are the only distinguishing factors.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ MP9 | Dart is available, keeping a permanent confirmed-kill count that transfers with the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir edition, as those only ship inside Major-tournament packages and Dart's Vanguard Collection has never been distributed that way.
MP9 | Dart Price
Battle-Scarred is the least expensive grade on the Dart's ladder, sitting below Well-Worn, Field-Tested, Minimal Wear, and Factory New. It's the go-to pick for stretching a budget while still owning a premium-tier finish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Dart heavily damaged?
Less than you'd expect. Because the finish is capped at 0.46 instead of the usual 1.00 float ceiling, even Battle-Scarred stops short of the extreme scuffing other skins show at this grade, so the chevron pattern stays recognizable.
Why is Battle-Scarred the cheapest MP9 | Dart?
Battle-Scarred sits at the bottom of every finish's price ladder because it carries the most visible surface wear, and the Dart is no exception — buyers accept the scuffed look here in exchange for the lowest entry price for this finish.
Does Battle-Scarred hurt the StatTrak counter or performance?
No. Wear grade is purely cosmetic — a Battle-Scarred StatTrak Dart tracks kills and performs identically to a Factory New copy. Only the surface appearance and price change between grades.
