MP9 | Wild Lily (Field-Tested)

MP9 | Wild Lily (Field-Tested)

The MP9 | Wild Lily (Field-Tested) brings the blue lily and purple base design to a mid-range condition. It's the classic balance point for this Classified finish, with some visible wear but a design that still reads clearly.

Design

A blue lily, hand-painted over a purple base, gives the MP9 a floral look that sets it apart from more conventional finishes. Valve created this one, and it comes with the flavor line "Stop and smell the cordite," a lighthearted nod to the artwork.

MP9 | Wild Lily (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

At Field-Tested, some scuffing shows along the edges, though the purple base hides light damage fairly well since the color stays dark and the lily's detail remains fairly distinct. Because the finish tops out at 0.7 float, even this middling condition stops short of the harshest wear a full-range skin can show.

MP9 | Wild Lily Rarity

Rarity: Classified, the pink tier one step below Covert and second-highest among the standard weapon grades. It's a comfortably uncommon grade among weapon skins overall.

MP9 | Wild Lily Case and Collection

The finish is part of The St. Marc Collection from the Operation Shattered Web update in November 2019, and it has no matching weapon case — supply comes only from that collection. Classified items drop at about 3.2%, a rate shared across the tier's whole roster.

MP9 | Wild Lily Patterns

There's no pattern lottery here: the lily's layout is identical on every copy, so hunting for a "best" paint seed doesn't apply to this finish. Condition and float are what actually differ between two copies.

StatTrak & Souvenir

This finish comes only as a regular skin — no StatTrak counter version exists, and no Souvenir edition either. Souvenir stock is limited to Major-tournament packages, and Wild Lily has never been offered through one.

MP9 | Wild Lily Price

Field-Tested sits in the middle of the price range, cheaper than Minimal Wear and Factory New while still delivering the same recognizable floral artwork. It remains one of the pricier MP9 finishes overall despite the mid-grade condition. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does Field-Tested hide wear well on this finish?

Reasonably. The dark purple base keeps light scuffing from standing out too much, and since float is capped at 0.7, the wear never gets as extreme as it could on a full-range skin. It's a solid middle option for buyers on a budget.

Is Field-Tested the best value grade?

For many buyers, yes. It costs meaningfully less than Minimal Wear or Factory New while keeping the lily design perfectly recognizable, making it a popular pick for players who don't need a mint-condition copy.

Why doesn't this finish have a StatTrak version?

StatTrak variants only exist for skins tied to a case that introduced that option, and Wild Lily never had one — it comes strictly from The St. Marc Collection as a regular finish, with no StatTrak or Souvenir counterpart.
