Design

This Negev wears a high-tech motif in tan and black — a purpose-built, tactical look that sets sandy panels against the dark body rather than chasing bright graphics. The design is the work of community creator Nextgenz.

Negev | Desert-Strike (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

The finish's float tops out at 0.50, and Well-Worn sits near the upper end of that. Expect noticeable paint loss and scuffing across the panels and edges, with the tan surface thinning in the busier areas. The tech pattern still holds together as the anchor, but this is clearly a worn grade — chosen for price over polish.

Negev | Desert-Strike Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier at the foot of the paid weapon grades. As the most frequently unboxed class, it keeps the skin common and affordable rather than collectible or scarce.

Negev | Desert-Strike Case and Collection

Belonging to The Breakout Collection, this finish comes out of the Operation Breakout Weapon Case, which released with Operation Breakout in July 2014. Mil-Spec is the case's most common return at around 79.92% (shared among the tier's skins), and with the case out of rotation, buyers source copies from the market instead of unboxing.

Negev | Desert-Strike Patterns

Every copy carries the same fixed artwork — the tan-and-black tech pattern doesn't shift with the paint seed, so there's no rare variant or blue-gem seed to seek out. Only the wear grade and float value distinguish one Negev from the next.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There's a StatTrak™ edition as well, made by the Operation Breakout Weapon Case, carrying a counter that tallies confirmed kills and is never wiped across trades or sales. A Souvenir edition doesn't exist: Souvenir weapons are minted purely from Major-tournament packages, and the Breakout Collection was never offered at a Major.

How rough does the Well-Worn grade look?

Fairly rough. There's clear paint loss and scuffing across the panels and edges, more than Field-Tested but short of the heaviest battering. The tan base and tech pattern keep the skin recognizable in-game, so it still reads as a Desert-Strike — just an obviously used one.

Is Well-Worn worth it over Field-Tested?

Only if the lowest possible price is the goal. Field-Tested looks a good deal tidier for a small step up in cost, so it's the better buy for most. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the tactical design as cheaply as possible without going all the way to Battle-Scarred.

Does this finish have a Souvenir version?

No. Souvenir weapons are created only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Breakout Collection was never distributed through one, so no Souvenir Desert-Strike was ever minted. A StatTrak™ version does exist, though, produced from the Operation Breakout Weapon Case.
