The Negev | Lionfish (Well-Worn) is a Restricted Negev finish in a rougher state, its spray-painted lionfish pattern showing real mileage. It's a cheaper way into the aquatic design for players who don't mind visible wear.

Design

This Negev wears the reef-predator theme — a lionfish pattern of red bands and fin-like streaks sprayed across the body, marine markings rather than a military camo. Community creator PTP designed it, and it comes with the line "Just keep swimming."

Negev | Lionfish (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

The finish's float tops out at 0.55, and Well-Worn sits toward that upper end. Expect noticeable paint loss and scuffing across the panels and edges, with the reds thinning in the busier areas. The lionfish banding still holds the design together, but this is plainly a worn grade — chosen for price over polish.

Negev | Lionfish Rarity

Rarity: Restricted, the purple tier that sits in the middle of the standard weapon grades. Being a rank above the common Mil-Spec class makes it an uncommon drop, though it's far from the rarest grade a Negev can wear.

Negev | Lionfish Case and Collection

Belonging to The Clutch Collection, this finish comes out of the Clutch Case, which released in February 2018. Restricted is a scarcer return at around 15.98% from the case (that figure is shared across the tier), so it's less common than the base grades in the same drop pool.

Negev | Lionfish Patterns

Every copy carries the same fixed artwork — the lionfish pattern doesn't shift with the paint seed, so there's no rare variant or blue-gem seed to seek out. As across the whole range, only the wear grade and float value tell one copy from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There's a StatTrak™ edition too, made by the Clutch Case, carrying a counter that tracks confirmed kills and keeps its total across trades and sales — it's never wiped. A Souvenir edition doesn't exist: Souvenir weapons are minted only from Major-tournament packages, and the Clutch Collection never featured at a Major.

FAQ

How rough does the Well-Worn grade look?

Fairly rough. There's clear paint loss and scuffing on the panels and edges, more than Field-Tested but short of the heaviest battering. The reds and banding keep the skin recognizable in-game, so it still reads as a Lionfish — just an obviously used one.

Is Well-Worn worth it over Field-Tested?

Only if the lowest price short of Battle-Scarred is the goal. Field-Tested looks a good deal tidier for a small step up in cost, so it's the better buy for most. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the aquatic design as cheaply as possible without going to the bottom grade.

Does the Lionfish have a Souvenir version?

No. Souvenir weapons are produced only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Clutch Collection was never distributed through one, so no Souvenir Lionfish was ever minted. A StatTrak™ version does exist, though, produced from the Clutch Case that carries the finish.
