Battle-Scarred is the roughest and cheapest grade of the P250 | Muertos (Battle-Scarred), a Classified skin built around custom-painted circular motifs. It's the way to own this design for as little as possible.
Design
The Muertos features a dense field of custom-painted circular motifs across the P250, a colorful and festive look with no camo or plain paint job involved. Marioso designed it as a community creation, and it ships with the flavor line "This one is steeped in tradition and blood."
P250 | Muertos (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Battle-Scarred occupies the very top of the finish's float range, which runs from 0.00 to 0.60. Since 0.60 is the actual ceiling rather than a full 1.0, even the worst copies of this skin fall short of the most extreme scuffing possible on other finishes — though heavy wear, faded color, and scratching across the circular motifs are still very much present at this grade.
P250 | Muertos Rarity
This is a Classified skin, the pink rarity tier just below Covert and a scarce pull relative to the more common grades in any case.
P250 | Muertos Case and Collection
The Muertos comes from The Chroma Collection, which debuted in January 2015 alongside the Chroma Case. Classified drops pull at roughly 3.2% from that case as a tier, but with the case retired from active drops, buying through the market is now the standard route.
P250 | Muertos Patterns
Paint seed has no effect on this skin's look — the circular motifs are identical across every copy, Battle-Scarred included. There's no blue-gem or pattern chase to speak of; only wear grade and float set copies apart.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak Muertos exists in addition to the standard finish, so kill-tracking is available even at this grade. No Souvenir edition exists, since Souvenir status only comes from Major-tournament packages, and the Muertos has never been distributed through one.
P250 | Muertos Price

Is Battle-Scarred worth buying for the Muertos?
If budget is your main concern, absolutely — it's by far the least expensive way to own this premium finish. Just expect faded colors and clear scuffing across the circular motifs rather than the vivid look of the top grades.
Does the 0.60 cap make Battle-Scarred less extreme here?
Yes. Since the Muertos never rolls past 0.60 float, this bottom grade avoids the harshest scuffing a full-1.0 skin could show, even though it's still clearly the roughest version of this particular finish.
Why would someone choose Battle-Scarred over other grades?
Mainly price — it lets budget-focused players own a Classified P250 skin with a distinctive design for far less than Factory New or Minimal Wear cost. The trade-off is accepting visible wear on the circular motifs.
