P250 | Nuclear Threat (Field-Tested)

P250 | Nuclear Threat (Field-Tested)

Field-Tested is the classic middle grade of the P250 | Nuclear Threat (Field-Tested), a Restricted pistol skin sprayed with green radiological hazard patterns. It's the balance point between visible wear and a friendlier price.

Design

The green radiological warning hazard patterns spread across this P250 give it an industrial, danger-themed identity built entirely around nuclear hazard symbols. It's a Valve-made finish, with the hazard artwork carrying the entire visual weight.

P250 | Nuclear Threat (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

Sitting in the middle of the skin's 0.06–0.80 float range, Field-Tested shows light scuffing while the green hazard patterns remain clearly legible. Since the finish's ceiling is 0.80 rather than a full 1.0, even mid-range wear here isn't as extreme as it could otherwise be on an uncapped skin.

P250 | Nuclear Threat Rarity

Rarity-wise, this is a Restricted skin, the purple tier sitting one step below Classified and an uncommon find overall.

P250 | Nuclear Threat Case and Collection

This finish belongs to The Nuke Collection, tied to the Arms Deal update from August 2013. It's a Souvenir-package finish rather than a case drop, with Restricted-tier odds around 15.98%; the first package was the ESL One Cologne 2014 Nuke Souvenir Package, followed by several later Major souvenir packages over the years.

P250 | Nuclear Threat Patterns

No paint seed changes the hazard-pattern layout — every copy of the Nuclear Threat shows the identical artwork regardless of float. There's no pattern or blue-gem angle to pursue; wear and float remain the only differences between copies.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A Souvenir version of this skin exists in addition to the regular finish, though no StatTrak edition was ever made. Souvenir copies trace back to the ESL One Cologne 2014 package first, with later Major souvenir packages adding to the pool since.

P250 | Nuclear Threat Price

Field-Tested sits at the mid-point of the Nuclear Threat's price ladder, cheaper than the top grades while still comfortably a high-end, grail-tier P250 finish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does Field-Tested hide wear well on the Nuclear Threat?

Fairly well — the busy green hazard pattern helps mask light scuffing, so the design still reads clearly from typical viewing distances. It's a reasonable middle ground for players who want the look without the top-grade price tag.

Are Souvenir Nuclear Threats different from regular ones visually?

No — the artwork itself is identical between the regular and Souvenir versions; the difference is purely the Souvenir tag and its tournament origin, plus the higher price that tag usually commands. Wear and float still work the same way on both.

Where does the Nuclear Threat come from if there's no case?

It's tied to Nuke map Souvenir packages rather than a weapon case, first showing up in the ESL One Cologne 2014 Nuke Souvenir Package. Several later Major tournaments added more Souvenir copies through their own packages over subsequent years.
