P90 | Sand Spray (Battle-Scarred)
Battle-Scarred (BS) is the cheapest grade of the P90 | Sand Spray, with the spray-painted lines showing the finish's heaviest available wear. As a Consumer Grade skin, it was always going to be inexpensive, and this grade is the floor of that range.
Design
Sand Spray applies short, thick, freehand spray lines in contrasting colors for a rough, tactical aesthetic. It's a verified Valve design, paired with the flavor text "Perfect for the insurgent on the go."
P90 | Sand Spray (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
This finish spans a float range of 0.06 to 0.8, and Battle-Scarred sits at the top of it — the most worn grade the skin reaches, though still short of a full 1.0 maximum. The sprayed lines look heavily faded and blurred at this grade, with the base color dominating more of the surface.
P90 | Sand Spray Rarity
Rarity: Consumer Grade, the white tier and the most common rarity available — which keeps this finish affordable at every grade, this one included.
P90 | Sand Spray Case and Collection
This finish is part of The Dust 2 Collection, released with the "Out with the old, in with the new" update in November 2013. There's no weapon case tied to it; copies come from the collection's drop pool, and Souvenir versions have circulated since the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package.
P90 | Sand Spray Patterns
The sprayed line pattern doesn't vary by seed — every copy carries the same layout, so there's no "best pattern" to hunt on this finish. Wear grade alone determines the final look.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A Souvenir version of Sand Spray exists, first issued through the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package and reissued through many later Major souvenir packages. No StatTrak edition has ever existed for this finish, at Battle-Scarred or any other grade.
P90 | Sand Spray Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade on the Sand Spray price ladder, an easy pickup even within a finish that's already priced affordably. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Battle-Scarred Sand Spray worth buying over Well-Worn (WW)?
Mostly for the small price difference — the two grades sit close together on the float scale, so the visual gap is modest, but Battle-Scarred is the cheaper of the two by a small margin.
Does the float cap matter much at Battle-Scarred?
A little — since the finish tops out at 0.8 rather than a full 1.0, even this worst grade stops just short of the most extreme wear other skins can show, though the difference is subtle in practice.
Why has Battle-Scarred Sand Spray stayed so cheap over the years?
Consistent Souvenir package reissues at Majors going back to 2013 have kept supply high, and its Consumer Grade rarity means it was never scarce to begin with — both factors keep Battle-Scarred pricing at the low end.
