P90 | Teardown (Battle-Scarred)
The P90 | Teardown carries a freehand mesh-stencil texture, and Battle-Scarred is its roughest, cheapest condition. It's the entry point into this Mil-Spec finish for buyers focused purely on price.
Design
The Teardown's texture comes from spraying the weapon freehand with mesh fabric acting as a stencil, producing a fine grid pattern over a muted, cool-toned base. Valve designed it as a simple, texture-driven finish without extra graphics on top.
P90 | Teardown (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
The Teardown's float spans 0.00 to 0.60, and Battle-Scarred occupies the top of that range — the finish's ceiling. Since the cap falls short of a full 1.0, this exterior stays milder than a Battle-Scarred copy with an uncapped float, and the mesh texture stays visible despite the heavier wear.
P90 | Teardown Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, one of the more common standard weapon tiers. This finish was never about scarcity, and Battle-Scarred leans into that with the lowest possible price.
P90 | Teardown Case and Collection
This finish is part of The Lake Collection from November 2013. With Mil-Spec finishes making up around 79.92% of the collection's drops, the Teardown is one of its easier-to-find pieces on the market as well.
P90 | Teardown Patterns
Every copy of the Teardown shares the same fixed mesh-stencil texture, so there's no pattern seed or "blue gem" version that changes the look. Wear grade and float remain the only differences between copies.
StatTrak & Souvenir
No StatTrak Teardown exists at any grade. A Souvenir version is available, though, first handed out in the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package and later at other Majors through their own souvenir packages, sharing the same design as the regular finish.
P90 | Teardown Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade on the Teardown's ladder, the lowest-cost way into this already budget finish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Teardown still usable visually?
Yes. Even with heavier scuffing, the mesh texture and muted base keep the design readable at typical in-game distances. Battle-Scarred trades polish for the lowest price, not the pattern itself.
Why doesn't the float cap keep this grade from looking rough?
The 0.60 float ceiling means Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear possible, but they still land solidly in worn territory — visible scuffing is expected, just not the absolute worst case.
Is Battle-Scarred the cheapest way to own a Souvenir Teardown?
Yes, among Souvenir copies, Battle-Scarred sits at the bottom of the price ladder just as it does for the regular finish, making it the most affordable route to a Souvenir Teardown from either package.
