PP-Bizon | Sand Dashed (Battle-Scarred)

The PP-Bizon | Sand Dashed (Battle-Scarred, BS) is a Consumer Grade SMG finish made from tape-stencil spray work, here shown at its most worn. Battle-Scarred is the cheapest way onto this finish's otherwise grail-tier price ladder.

Design

Sand Dashed's identity comes from short tape strips used as spray stencils, producing a rough gray dashed pattern with a field-improvised feel. Valve designed it, sticking to a desert-tactical look throughout the finish.

PP-Bizon | Sand Dashed (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

Float runs from 0.06 to 0.80 on this finish, and Battle-Scarred sits at the top of that band — the roughest grade available. Even so, because the range is capped at 0.80 instead of a full 1.00, this wear level never reaches the extreme battering seen on skins with no cap, so the dashed pattern remains readable even here. It's the softest a "worst" grade gets on the Sand Dashed.

PP-Bizon | Sand Dashed Rarity

Rarity: Consumer Grade, the base white tier and the single most common rarity across CS2's grading system.

PP-Bizon | Sand Dashed Case and Collection

This finish belongs to The Italy Collection, dating back to the "Out with the old, in with the new" update in November 2013. It shipped in large numbers as a Consumer Grade piece, and today the market — not fresh collection drops — is where most Battle-Scarred copies come from.

PP-Bizon | Sand Dashed Patterns

The dashed stencil pattern is fixed across every copy of this finish, so no paint seed produces a rarer or different-looking version. Only float and wear grade separate one copy from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

Sand Dashed exists as a regular finish and a Souvenir finish, with no StatTrak version ever produced. The Souvenir tag debuted in the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package, and later Major-tournament packages have added further Souvenir copies since.

PP-Bizon | Sand Dashed Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade on the Sand Dashed ladder, making it the most accessible way into a finish that otherwise trades at a high-end, grail-tier level for its rarity. It's the budget entry point of choice. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How worn does Battle-Scarred look on this finish?

Rougher than the other grades, but not as extreme as a full-range skin would get — the float cap here stops at 0.80, so the dashed pattern stays legible even at its worst. It reads as heavily used rather than destroyed.

Is Battle-Scarred the best budget pick for a grail-tier finish?

Yes — since Sand Dashed carries a high-end price despite its common rarity, Battle-Scarred is the most affordable way to own it while still showing the recognizable dashed pattern clearly.

Why doesn't Battle-Scarred here look as extreme as on other skins?

Because the float range caps at 0.80 rather than 1.00, this finish never reaches the harshest possible wear level. Skins without that cap can look considerably more battered at their worst grade.
