R8 Revolver | Crimson Web (Battle-Scarred)
The R8 Revolver | Crimson Web (Battle-Scarred) shows its red base coat and spider-web hydrographic in the roughest condition the finish reaches. It's the cheapest way onto the R8 Revolver's most requested skin.
Design
A spider-web hydrographic over a red base coat, finished with a semi-gloss topcoat, is what gives this skin its signature look — dark webbing cutting across a bright red background. It's a Valve-made finish, carrying the flavor text "Be careful where you walk, you never know where the web is spread."
R8 Revolver | Crimson Web (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
The Crimson Web's float range tops out at 0.80 rather than a full 1.0, so even Battle-Scarred stays milder than the worst possible wear on a lightly-worn skin. That said, expect heavy scuffing across the grip and body, with the topcoat noticeably duller and the web pattern harder to make out at a glance.
R8 Revolver | Crimson Web Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue, base-level tier of the standard weapon case rarity system, and one of the more common grades to unbox.
R8 Revolver | Crimson Web Case and Collection
This finish sits in The Revolver Case Collection and drops from the Revolver Case, released with CS:GO's Winter Update in December 2015. Mil-Spec pulls made up roughly four-fifths of that case's outcomes, and since the case is no longer in active rotation, most Battle-Scarred copies today come from market trades rather than fresh unboxes.
R8 Revolver | Crimson Web Patterns
Even at this wear level the paint seed still decides where the web lands, with a large, centered full web being the most desirable outcome and scattered placement being far more typical. There's no numbered blue-gem tier to track — just how the web falls on the body.
StatTrak & Souvenir
Both a regular and a StatTrak version of this finish exist, StatTrak sourced from the same Revolver Case, with a permanent kill counter that carries through trades and sales. No Souvenir edition was ever produced, since those only come from Major-tournament packages and this finish has never appeared in one.
R8 Revolver | Crimson Web Price
Battle-Scarred is the entry point of the Crimson Web's price ladder, the cheapest way to own one of the R8 Revolver's grail-tier finishes even with the heavier wear. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Crimson Web still recognizable?
Yes, though it takes the most visible damage of any grade. The red base and darker web strands remain distinguishable even under heavy scuffing, so the design still reads in-game — it just won't look as sharp as the cleaner grades.
Why doesn't Battle-Scarred look completely destroyed?
Because the finish's float caps at 0.80 instead of the full 1.0, Battle-Scarred copies never hit the most extreme wear a skin can reach. That cap keeps even the roughest Crimson Web a step short of the worst-case scenario.
Which gloves go with the Crimson Web?
The red base makes this a natural fit for a red-toned loadout — red or crimson gloves pick up the base coat, while black wraps play up the dark web strands for more contrast. Either direction keeps the palette cohesive.
