SG 553 | Barricade (Well-Worn)

SG 553 | Barricade (Well-Worn)

The SG 553 | Barricade (Well-Worn) shows the black-and-gray labyrinth stencil with clear surface damage. It's a cheaper way to run the design for players who don't mind a rougher look.

Design

At its core, Barricade is an isometric labyrinth stenciled in black and gray, a graphic design meant to catch the eye rather than blend in. Valve created it, pairing the look with the flavor line "Hopeless by design."

SG 553 | Barricade (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

Well-Worn sits toward the top of the Barricade's 0.00–0.65 float range. Here the stencil work shows noticeable scuffing and some fading, though the labyrinth lines still read clearly enough to keep the finish recognizable. It's a rougher copy at a reduced price.

SG 553 | Barricade Rarity

This is a Consumer Grade finish, the white tier and the most common grade among standard weapon skins — the entry level of the rarity ladder.

SG 553 | Barricade Case and Collection

Barricade drops from no weapon case at all — it's part of The Norse Collection that launched with Operation Shattered Web in November 2019, obtained through collection drops or trade-up contracts.

SG 553 | Barricade Patterns

The design is fixed on every copy — no seed variation changes how the labyrinth stencil sits on the model. Wear grade and float are the only differences between one Barricade and another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

No StatTrak version of the Barricade exists, and no Souvenir edition was made either — this finish is regular-only across every wear. Souvenir weapons come solely from Major-tournament packages, and the Barricade has never been part of one.

SG 553 | Barricade Price

Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the Barricade's price ladder, above only Battle-Scarred, making it one of the cheaper ways to own the finish even though the Barricade as a whole holds premium standing on the SG 553 line. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How much wear shows on the Well-Worn Barricade?

More than Field-Tested but less than Battle-Scarred — expect visible scuffing and some fading across the stencil work. The labyrinth pattern still holds up well enough to keep the design identifiable from a normal viewing distance in-game.

Is Well-Worn worth choosing over Field-Tested?

Mostly if price is the deciding factor. Field-Tested looks noticeably cleaner for a modest cost difference, so most buyers lean that way. Well-Worn makes sense if you want the Barricade as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way to Battle-Scarred.

Does the wear affect the labyrinth pattern's readability?

Somewhat — the stencil lines lose some sharpness at this grade, but the overall maze-like design remains recognizable, which is part of why the Barricade still reads clearly despite the added wear.
