Tec-9 | Bamboo Forest (Well-Worn)
The Tec-9 | Bamboo Forest (Well-Worn) carries this Consumer Grade bamboo hydrographic with a clearly rougher surface. It's a cheaper route onto the design for players who don't need top condition.
Design
Valve's design here is a hydrographic finish covered in hand-brushed bamboo stalks, aiming for a calm, natural look rather than anything busy or military. A lighthearted line ships with it too: "I still think it should have a panda - Booth, Arms Dealer."
Tec-9 | Bamboo Forest (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Across the finish's 0.00–0.60 float range, Well-Worn sits near the top end. Scratching and paint thinning are clearly visible on the grip and slide at this grade, more than at Field-Tested. Because the finish is capped at 0.60 instead of 1.0, though, this wear is still milder than Well-Worn on many uncapped skins.
Tec-9 | Bamboo Forest Rarity
Consumer Grade is the rarity here — the white tier, the lowest and most common rung of the standard rarity ladder.
Tec-9 | Bamboo Forest Case and Collection
The finish belongs to The Rising Sun Collection, dated to Operation Bloodhound back in May 2015. It skips the case system entirely, reaching players via collection drops and trade-ups instead of an unboxing pool.
Tec-9 | Bamboo Forest Patterns
The bamboo artwork is fixed across every copy, so the paint seed makes no visual difference at all. There's no rare-pattern or "blue gem" hunt to be had on this finish — wear is the only real variable.
StatTrak & Souvenir
No StatTrak or Souvenir version of this finish has ever existed — it's regular-only across every wear. Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages, and this finish was never featured in one.
Tec-9 | Bamboo Forest Price
Well-Worn is one of the cheaper grades on the ladder, priced below Field-Tested but above only Battle-Scarred — a budget way into a premium-tier Tec-9 finish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if saving money is the main goal. Field-Tested holds up noticeably better in looks for a modest price increase, so most buyers lean that way. Well-Worn suits anyone wanting the cheapest copy short of Battle-Scarred.
Does the bamboo pattern still look good at Well-Worn?
It's recognizable but rougher — scratches and paint thinning show clearly on the grip and slide. The brushwork itself remains visible, just without the crispness seen on cleaner grades.
What loadout suits the Bamboo Forest theme?
Its earthy, natural bamboo tones pair nicely with tan, green, or brown gloves for a matching nature-inspired look. Keeping the rest of the loadout muted and understated fits the finish's relaxed vibe best.
