Tec-9 | Fuel Injector (Battle-Scarred)

Tec-9 | Fuel Injector (Battle-Scarred)

The Tec-9 | Fuel Injector (Battle-Scarred) is the Classified yellow-and-hydrographic Tec-9 finish at its roughest, most affordable grade. It's the cheapest entry point into this grail-tier design, trading a clean surface for the lowest price.

Design

The finish is defined by a yellow-painted body and a belt-engine hydrographic across the magazine, a bold look built around speed and energy rather than subtlety. Designer emu, a community artist, created it, and it comes with the flavor line "Pit crew not included."

Tec-9 | Fuel Injector (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

Float runs the full 0.00–1.00 range on this finish, and Battle-Scarred occupies the top end of it, right up to the maximum. Expect heavy scratching and significant paint loss across the yellow body at this grade, though the belt-engine graphic on the magazine still reads well enough to identify the design.

Tec-9 | Fuel Injector Rarity

The finish carries a Classified rating, the pink tier ranked just under Covert as the second-highest of the standard weapon grades — an uncommon pull no matter the wear.

Tec-9 | Fuel Injector Case and Collection

It belongs to The Gamma 2 Collection and drops out of the Gamma 2 Case, launched back in August 2016. The Classified tier from that case pulls at roughly 3.2%, a rate spread across all the tier's skins rather than tied to this finish alone.

Tec-9 | Fuel Injector Patterns

There's no pattern variation to worry about here — the yellow paint job and the hydrographic magazine design are identical on every copy, so no "blue gem" seed exists to chase. Wear and float remain the only differences between copies.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak version of this finish is available alongside the regular one, adding a permanent confirmed-kill counter that carries over through trades and sales. No Souvenir version exists, as Souvenir weapons are only produced from Major-tournament packages and this finish was never included in one.

Tec-9 | Fuel Injector Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade available for this finish, sitting at the very bottom of its price ladder despite the design's overall high-end, grail-tier status. It's the way to grab the Fuel Injector for the least money possible. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Fuel Injector still recognizable?

Yes. Even with heavy scuffing across the body, the yellow base and the belt-engine hydrographic on the magazine remain clear enough to identify at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred sacrifices surface condition, not the overall look of the design.

Why is Battle-Scarred so much cheaper than Factory New here?

Because this finish is otherwise a high-end, grail-tier pick from a retired case, condition plays a big role in price. Battle-Scarred sits at the far end of the 0.00–1.00 float range, and that heavier wear brings the cost down substantially compared with a near-flawless Factory New copy.

Does StatTrak make sense on a Battle-Scarred copy?

It can, for players who care about the kill counter more than surface condition. A StatTrak Battle-Scarred copy still costs less than a non-StatTrak Factory New, making it a way to get the counter feature without paying grail-tier prices.
