Tec-9 | Safety Net (Factory New)
The Tec-9 | Safety Net (Factory New) is a Mil-Spec Grade pistol skin with an orange mesh pattern laid over a white base. Factory New shows that mesh at its crispest, right before any wear starts to dull it.
Design
An orange mesh pattern sits over a plain white base, giving the pistol a high-visibility, safety-gear look rather than a busy graphic. The finish carries the flavor line "Your loadout; now with high visibility."
Tec-9 | Safety Net (Factory New) Float and Wear
Safety Net spans a 0.00–0.60 float range, and Factory New sits right at the bottom of it. At this grade the white base looks bright and even, and the orange mesh pattern reads sharp with no scuffing anywhere on the body.
Tec-9 | Safety Net Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier — the most common of the standard weapon rarities, sitting below Restricted, Classified, and Covert.
Tec-9 | Safety Net Case and Collection
This finish is part of The 2021 Train Collection, released in September 2021 with Operation Riptide. Mil-Spec is the most common tier in the collection's drop pool, and with the operation now over, most copies come from the market rather than fresh drops.
Tec-9 | Safety Net Patterns
The mesh design is fixed on this finish — every copy shows the same orange grid over the white base, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" variant to chase. Wear grade and float are the only things that separate copies.
StatTrak & Souvenir
Safety Net exists only as a regular finish — there's no StatTrak edition and no Souvenir edition. Souvenir weapons are limited to Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this finish has never been included in one.
Tec-9 | Safety Net Price
Factory New sits at the top of the Safety Net price ladder, priced above every other grade for the sharpest available copy. Even at its highest grade, it stays an affordable Tec-9 pick. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Factory New a big step up in price for Safety Net?
Not really. Since this is a Mil-Spec finish, prices stay modest across every grade, so paying for Factory New's crisp mesh pattern and bright white base is an easy, low-cost upgrade over the lower grades.
Does the mesh pattern vary between copies?
No, the orange mesh over the white base is identical on every copy, so there's no seed number or rare variant to search for. Only the wear grade and exact float value differ from skin to skin.
Why doesn't Safety Net have a StatTrak or Souvenir version?
Valve never produced a StatTrak edition for this finish, and Souvenir weapons are reserved for Major-tournament packages — since Safety Net's collection was never featured in one, no Souvenir version exists either.
