Tec-9 | Terrace (Field-Tested)

Tec-9 | Terrace (Field-Tested)

The Tec-9 | Terrace (Field-Tested) carries the same geometric hydrographic wrap as the rest of the line, here with an honest amount of visible wear. Field-Tested is the mid-point on price for a Mil-Spec finish that otherwise trades like a much rarer skin.

Design

Instead of a single centerpiece image, the Terrace repeats a geometric hydrographic motif across the body, a Valve-made design that favors pattern over a standout graphic. It also comes with an in-game line credited to Franz Kriegeld, the Phoenix Tactician: "You're too trusting Valeria... it will get you killed."

Tec-9 | Terrace (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

Across the Terrace's full 0.00–1.00 float span, Field-Tested falls squarely in the middle. Expect light scuffing along the raised edges and grip panels, enough to soften the geometric lines slightly without disrupting the overall pattern, which keeps the design easy to make out at a glance.

Tec-9 | Terrace Rarity

The rarity grade here is Mil-Spec, the blue tier and the lowest of the four standard weapon grades, sitting under Restricted, Classified, and Covert.

Tec-9 | Terrace Case and Collection

The Terrace comes from The Rising Sun Collection, released with Operation Bloodhound back in May 2015, and it has no associated weapon case. With collection drops as the only route to new copies, the pool doesn't grow, and that scarcity is why this Mil-Spec finish sells well past typical prices for its grade.

Tec-9 | Terrace Patterns

Because the geometric wrap is a fixed design, paint seed makes no difference to how a Terrace looks — every copy carries the same layout. There's no blue-gem chase here; float and wear do all the differentiating.

StatTrak & Souvenir

Only a regular version of the Terrace is available — there's no StatTrak edition to log kills with, and no Souvenir version either, since that would require a past Major-tournament package, which this skin never appeared in.

Tec-9 | Terrace Price

Field-Tested sits mid-ladder on the Terrace, cheaper than Minimal Wear and Factory New while still commanding high-end money relative to most Mil-Spec skins. It's a reasonable middle ground between condition and cost. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does Field-Tested Terrace still look good in-game?

Yes. The wear is visible up close as light scuffing on the edges and grip, but from normal in-game viewing distances the geometric pattern still reads clearly, so you're not sacrificing much visually to save on the higher grades.

Is Field-Tested the best value grade?

For most buyers, yes. It costs less than Minimal Wear and Factory New while keeping the pattern legible, so it's the natural pick if you want the Terrace without paying for the very top condition.

Why doesn't the Terrace come from a case?

It launched as part of The Rising Sun Collection during Operation Bloodhound in 2015 without a matching weapon case, so it was only ever obtainable through the collection itself rather than case unboxing — a supply quirk that keeps its price elevated.
