UMP-45 | Urban DDPAT (Battle-Scarred)

The UMP-45 | Urban DDPAT (Battle-Scarred, BS) is the roughest-condition version of this gray Digital Disruptive Pattern SMG skin. It's also the cheapest way to add the Consumer Grade camo finish to a loadout.

Design

This Valve-made finish coats the UMP-45 in a gray DDPAT hydrographic — a pixelated tactical camo shared in style with other Train Collection pieces, prioritizing a utilitarian look over any flashy graphics. It comes with the flavor line: "By the time you're close enough to notice the pixels it's already too late."

UMP-45 | Urban DDPAT (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

Float on this finish is capped between 0.06 and 0.80, so even Battle-Scarred stops short of the most extreme wear a full 0–1.0 skin could reach. Expect heavy scuffing and paint loss across the body, but the pixel-block camo helps disguise some of that damage compared to a solid-color finish at the same grade.

UMP-45 | Urban DDPAT Rarity

Rarity: Consumer Grade, the white tier that sits at the base of Counter-Strike 2's rarity ladder and the most common grade overall.

UMP-45 | Urban DDPAT Case and Collection

The finish is part of The Train Collection, which launched in November 2013 alongside the "Out with the old, in with the new" update. It isn't tied to any active case, so copies come from collection drops and trade-ups rather than being unboxed fresh today.

UMP-45 | Urban DDPAT Patterns

Because this is a fixed design, the paint seed makes no difference to how the camo looks — every copy carries the identical pixelated pattern. There's no blue-gem seed or rare variant to search for; wear and float are the only real differences between copies.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There's no StatTrak edition of this finish, though it does exist as a regular copy and a Souvenir copy. Souvenir versions trace back to Major-tournament packages, starting at the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package and continuing through several later Majors, each its own separate release rather than one shared date.

UMP-45 | Urban DDPAT Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade on the ladder for this finish, well below Field-Tested (FT) and Well-Worn (WW) — the entry point for anyone who wants the camo look for as little money as possible. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Urban DDPAT worth it over a cleaner grade?

At Battle-Scarred the digital camo shows the heaviest fading and scuffing of any grade, but the urban pattern stays readable and this is the most accessible way into the finish. If you want the look for the lowest outlay and are not chasing a low float, it is a sensible pick.

Why isn't Battle-Scarred completely destroyed-looking?

The finish is float-capped at 0.80 rather than the full 1.0, so it never reaches the most extreme wear possible in the game. Combined with the already-broken camo print, that keeps even the roughest copies looking reasonably intact.

Does this skin ever come from a weapon case?

No — it's a Train Collection piece with no active case tied to it. Regular copies reach the market through collection drops and trade-up contracts, and Souvenir copies come separately from Major-tournament packages.
