USP-S | 27 (Battle-Scarred)

USP-S | 27 (Battle-Scarred)

The USP-S | 27 (Battle-Scarred) is a Mil-Spec Grade pistol skin with a tactical "Gunsmith"-style finish, a winged defuser beneath the rear sight, and a "027" stamp near the ejection port, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the design, trading surface polish for the lowest entry price.

Design

Community artist HEWOK built this finish in a restrained, tactical "Gunsmith" style that trades busy graphics for subtle detailing. The defining marks are a winged defuser beneath the rear sight and a "027" stamp near the ejection port, and it ships with a fitting in-game line: "Light field work."

USP-S | 27 (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

The finish runs the full float scale from 0.00 to 1.00, and Battle-Scarred sits at the very top, roughly 0.45–1.00. Because there's no float cap, its roughest copies reach the extreme end, wearing their damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the slide and body. The winged defuser and "027" stamp survive as the anchors that keep the skin readable.

USP-S | 27 Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier. It sits at the base of the standard weapon grades and is the most common tier to unbox from a case.

USP-S | 27 Case and Collection

This finish sits in The Gallery Collection and is unboxed from the Gallery Case, released together with the Armory update in October 2024. The Mil-Spec tier drops around 79.92% of the time from the case (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), so it's the likeliest result of any opening.

USP-S | 27 Patterns

Since the Gunsmith detailing, winged defuser, and "027" stamp sit the same way on every copy, the finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt for. Wear and float are all that separate one copy from the next.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There's also a StatTrak™ version from the Gallery Case, which adds a confirmed-kill counter; it's rarer and pricier than the standard drop, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. No Souvenir edition exists — Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages, and this finish has never featured as one.

USP-S | 27 Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish — the entry-level way to run this design for players who care more about the look than the condition. On an affordable mid-tier pistol, it's about as low as the cost gets. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred 27 still recognizable?

Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the winged defuser and "027" stamp keep the design readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the artwork's identity entirely.

How rough can a Battle-Scarred copy get?

Fairly rough. The finish has no float cap, so its float can climb toward 1.00, and the highest-float copies show the most paint loss and scratching this skin reaches. If you want the least battered Battle-Scarred, look for one nearer the low end of its float window.

Why is there no Souvenir USP-S | 27?

Souvenir weapons are handed out only through Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this finish has never been part of a Major drop. It came from the Gallery Case instead, which is why a StatTrak™ version exists but a Souvenir one does not.
