The USP-S | Ticket to Hell (Battle-Scarred, BS) is a Restricted pistol skin with white technical linework over a black base, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the monochrome design, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price.
Design
The finish keeps things stark: white technical designs custom painted across a black base, a monochrome look that trades color for pure contrast. Designed by the community artist supremat, it ships with a fittingly grim in-game line: "Designer death."
USP-S | Ticket to Hell (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
The finish runs a 0.00–0.76 float range, and Battle-Scarred occupies the top of it. The damage shows openly here — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the slide, thinning the black surface in places, with the white linework holding on as the anchor that keeps things readable. Note that the finish caps at 0.76 rather than the full 1.0, so its worst copies stay milder than a fully worn skin, and the design remains legible even at its roughest.

Is the Battle-Scarred grade still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the black base and bright white linework keep the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear for the lowest price, not losing the look — and the dark base means the damage reads as less severe than on many lighter skins.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred look completely trashed?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.76 rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear. Paired with a black base that swallows scratching, the design stays more legible here than a lighter-colored skin would at the same grade.
