USP-S | Alpine Camo (Field-Tested)

USP-S | Alpine Camo (Field-Tested)

The USP-S | Alpine Camo (Field-Tested) is a Mil-Spec pistol skin with a blue and purple camouflage over a blue-tinted "Gunsmith" base. Field-Tested is the most common, most affordable way to own it — light honest wear on a design that carries it well.

Design

Alpine Camo is a Valve design built on a blue-tinted "Gunsmith" style finish, wrapped in a blue and purple camouflage that gives the USP-S a cool, tactical identity. It comes with a fitting in-game line: "Pulled out of cold storage."

USP-S | Alpine Camo (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

On the finish's 0.00–0.68 float scale, Field-Tested sits in the middle. Here the slide picks up light scratching along the edges and high points, but the busy camouflage breaks up the wear so it rarely jumps out, and the cool palette stays readable. This is the grade most players default to for the balance of looks and cost.

USP-S | Alpine Camo Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier, sitting at the common end of the standard weapon-skin grades. Its everyday rarity is exactly why the finish is so easy to pick up.

USP-S | Alpine Camo Case and Collection

Alpine Camo comes from The Sport & Field Collection, released as part of The Armory update in October 2024. The Mil-Spec tier is the collection's most likely drop at roughly 79.92% (a rate shared across the tier's skins), so the market is flooded with copies and prices stay low.

USP-S | Alpine Camo Patterns

No random pattern variation exists on this finish — the camouflage is placed the same on each copy, meaning there's nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" worth pursuing. Copies differ only by wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

This finish has no StatTrak variant, so you won't find a kill-counter version anywhere. It also has no Souvenir edition — Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Sport & Field Collection has never been part of a Major.

USP-S | Alpine Camo Price

Field-Tested is the value heart of the range — cheaper than the higher grades while the dense camo keeps it looking tidy, which is why it's the go-to pickup. On a finish that already sits in budget territory for a USP-S, it's about as cheap as a good-looking copy gets. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does the Field-Tested Alpine Camo look beat up?

Not really. The camouflage is busy enough to disguise the light scratching that shows up at this grade, so a Field-Tested copy still reads tidy from a normal distance. Look closely at the edges and high points and you'll spot some wear, but it never dominates the design.

Is Field-Tested the best value Alpine Camo?

For most buyers, yes. It costs less than Minimal Wear while the pattern hides its wear well, and it's the most common grade on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred come in cheaper if you want the lowest entry price and don't mind heavier scuffing on the slide.

Which gloves match Alpine Camo?

Its cool blue-and-purple palette calls for a matching loadout, so blue or purple gloves are the natural fit — blue echoes the tinted base, purple picks up the camo's accent tone. Neutral gray wraps also work if you'd rather let the skin be the standout piece.
