USP-S | Purple DDPAT (Battle-Scarred)
The USP-S | Purple DDPAT (Battle-Scarred) is a Mil-Spec pistol skin in a purple digital-camo hydrographic, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the finish, trading surface polish for the lowest entry price.
Design
This finish keeps it blunt: a purple Digital Disruptive Pattern (DDPAT) hydrographic running across the silenced USP frame, a pixel-camo built on bold color and tactical function rather than busy artwork. Designed by Valve, it ships with a fitting in-game line: "By the time you're close enough to notice the pixels it's already too late."
USP-S | Purple DDPAT (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
The finish is float-capped at 0.55 rather than the full 1.0, so its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear a full-scale skin would. Even so, this is the roughest grade — heavy scuffing and paint loss spread across the slide and body, with the camo thinned in places. The pixel pattern keeps the design legible, and its purple tone still carries the look.
USP-S | Purple DDPAT Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier, the first step of the standard weapon grades. It's the most common grade to unbox, which is a big part of why this camo stays budget-friendly.
USP-S | Purple DDPAT Case and Collection
Part of The 2021 Mirage Collection, the Purple DDPAT came out with Operation Riptide in September 2021. The Mil-Spec tier as a whole drops roughly 79.92% of the time from its souvenir source (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), which is why the market has no shortage of copies.
USP-S | Purple DDPAT Patterns
There's no random pattern roll on the Purple DDPAT: the camo hydrographic lands the same on each copy, so nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" is worth tracking. Wear and float are the only variables between one copy and another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
No StatTrak edition was ever produced here — StatTrak arrives only through weapon cases, and this skin has never dropped from a case, only from souvenir packages. Its Souvenir variant does exist, debuting in the Stockholm 2021 Mirage Souvenir Package; those copies come from Major-tournament packages and often carry player and team stickers from the tournament.
USP-S | Purple DDPAT Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run the purple camo for players who care more about the look than the condition. It anchors the low end of an already affordable mid-tier USP-S. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Purple DDPAT still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the pixel-camo pattern and its purple tone keep the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the look entirely.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Purple DDPAT look completely trashed?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.55 rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never hit the most extreme wear. Combined with a busy pixel-camo that scatters damage, the design stays more legible here than many lighter, plainer skins do.
Which gloves go with the Purple DDPAT?
Its purple palette suits a cool-toned loadout, so purple or dark violet gloves pair best — a violet wrap plays off the camo, while black or gray gloves let the color lead. It rounds out a purple-themed pistol setup.
