The USP-S | Caiman (Well-Worn) is a Classified pistol skin custom painted with an image of a caiman, detailed to mimic the reptile's scales and eyes, here in its most heavily worn state. It's the cheapest route into the finish, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price.

Design

Designed by community artist Zaphk, the Caiman covers the suppressed USP-S in detailing that mimics the scales and eyes of a caiman — a texture-first, naturalistic finish rather than a printed graphic, marrying realism to the pistol's tactical build.

USP-S | Caiman (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

This finish is float-capped at 0.40, so Well-Worn is the most worn grade it reaches — there is no Battle-Scarred, and even here the skin never hits the extreme end of the float scale that a full-1.0 finish would. Expect clear scuffing and paint loss across the slide and edges, though the dense scale texture keeps the caiman motif readable. It's the pick for players who want the design for as little as possible.

USP-S | Caiman Rarity

Rarity: Classified, the pink tier. It sits directly below Covert as the second-highest of the standard weapon grades, and it's a genuinely uncommon grade to unbox.

USP-S | Caiman Case and Collection

The Caiman is part of The Huntsman Collection and drops from the Huntsman Weapon Case, released with the "The Hunt Begins" update in May 2014. As a group the Classified tier unboxes about 3.2% of the time (that odds figure is shared across the tier), and with the case no longer in the active drop pool, supply is locked — buyers get most copies on the market instead of from a case.

USP-S | Caiman Patterns

The Caiman carries no random pattern roll: the scale texture and eye detailing appear the same on each copy, which means there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. Wear and float are all that separate one copy from the next.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ USP-S | Caiman does exist, dropping from the Huntsman Weapon Case with a confirmed-kill counter that is permanent — it carries over whenever the item is traded or sold — and it's a scarcer, more expensive drop than the standard skin. Why is there no Battle-Scarred Caiman?

The finish is float-capped at 0.40, and the game never rolls a copy above that. Battle-Scarred needs a float over 0.45, so it simply can't exist here — Well-Worn is the most worn grade the skin reaches, and it stays milder than a full-range skin's roughest condition.

Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?

Only if price is your top priority. Field-Tested looks cleaner for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the Caiman design as cheaply as possible and don't mind the extra scuffing on the slide.
