USP-S | Monster Mashup (Field-Tested)
The USP-S | Monster Mashup (Field-Tested) is a Classified pistol skin with custom green-monster graffiti and a pearlescent silencer, here carrying a touch of honest wear. Field-Tested is the most common and recognizable way to own the design, keeping the colorful artwork readable for well under the higher grades.
Design
The look is all energy: a cartoon green monster surrounded by icons borrowed from popular urban art, painted over a custom base, with a pearlescent silencer that catches the light on its own. It began as a community submission from the artist Nextgenz and comes with the in-game line "X__X".
USP-S | Monster Mashup (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Sitting in the middle of the 0.00–0.70 float range, Field-Tested picks up light scratching along the edges and high spots of the frame. The dense graffiti artwork absorbs most of it, though, so the monster and icons still read boldly and the pearlescent silencer keeps its shimmer. This is the grade most players picture — the balance point between looks and cost.
USP-S | Monster Mashup Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink grade, ranked just beneath Covert and second from the top of the standard weapon tiers. Pulling one from a case is genuinely uncommon.
USP-S | Monster Mashup Case and Collection
This finish is part of The Operation Broken Fang Collection and is unboxed from the Operation Broken Fang Case, released together with Operation Broken Fang in December 2020. As a group the Classified tier drops around 3.2% of the time from the case (that rate is shared across the tier's skins), and because the case is out of the active drop pool, supply is fixed — the market, not unboxing, is where most copies come from now.
USP-S | Monster Mashup Patterns
Because the monster and its surrounding icons sit the same way on every copy, the finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to look for. Wear and float are all that separate one copy from the next.

FAQ
Does the Field-Tested copy look beat up?
Not really. There's light edge scratching under close inspection, but the busy graffiti design swallows most of it, so the skin reads bold and colorful at a glance. The green monster, the urban icons, and the shimmer on the silencer all come through clearly — you're mostly paying less for wear you barely notice.
Is Field-Tested the best value grade?
For most buyers, yes. It costs noticeably less than Minimal Wear and Factory New but looks almost as vivid thanks to the wear-hiding artwork, and it's the most common grade on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are cheaper still if you want the lowest entry price and don't mind heavier scuffing.
