USP-S | Neo-Noir (Battle-Scarred)
The USP-S | Neo-Noir (Battle-Scarred) is a Covert pistol skin showing a blue-magenta woman over a grayscale background in purple and pink noir tones, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the design, trading surface quality for the lowest entry price.
Design
Neo-Noir is donschi's cinematic, noir-styled artwork: a blue-magenta figure over a grayscale backdrop, driven by purple and pink hues. It looks more like a graphic-novel frame than a standard weapon wrap, and it ships with an atmospheric in-game line: "Drenched in a neon glow, she lies at the foot of an oppressive skyscraper."
USP-S | Neo-Noir (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
This finish is float-capped at 0.70 rather than the full 1.0, so even Battle-Scarred never reaches the most extreme end of the wear scale. Its copies still show the heaviest damage the skin allows — pronounced scratching and a washed-out neon glow across the slide and body — but the figure stays readable, and the cap keeps it a touch milder than a full-range skin at the same grade.
USP-S | Neo-Noir Rarity
Rarity: Covert — the red tier, the top standard weapon grade below knives and gloves, and a genuinely rare one to unbox.
USP-S | Neo-Noir Case and Collection
Neo-Noir sits in The Spectrum Collection and is unboxed from the Spectrum Case, released in March 2017 alongside the "Take a trip to the Canals" update. As the case's Covert it occupies the rarest tier at roughly 0.64% odds, and because supply is fixed, the market — not unboxing — is where most copies come from.
USP-S | Neo-Noir Patterns
Since the neon illustration and grayscale ground sit identically on every copy, this finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt. Wear and float are all that separate one copy from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ Neo-Noir does exist, sourced from the Spectrum Case, tacking on a confirmed-kill counter; it's rarer and pricier than the standard drop, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir variant — Souvenir weapons are only issued through Major-tournament packages, and this skin was never a Major drop.
USP-S | Neo-Noir Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run the noir design for players who care more about the look than the condition. If you want this premium USP-S artwork for as little as possible, this is the way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred copy still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing and a faded glow, the blue-magenta figure and grayscale scene keep the design clearly identifiable at a glance in-game. This grade is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the look altogether.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred copy look completely trashed?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.70 instead of the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never hit the most extreme wear. That ceiling keeps the artwork more legible than many full-range skins get at the same grade, even with the fading and scratches present.
Which gloves work with a worn Neo-Noir?
The purple-magenta palette still guides the pairing — purple or pink gloves echo the neon hues, while a dark, muted wrap complements the faded, grayscale-heavy base. Either keeps the sidearm anchored in a cohesive noir-themed loadout despite the heavier wear.
