USP-S | Overgrowth (Minimal Wear)
The USP-S | Overgrowth (Minimal Wear) is a Restricted pistol skin dressed in a lush green camo hydrographic for a natural-camouflage look. Minimal Wear keeps the foliage pattern nearly pristine, with only the faintest edge wear — a near-Factory-New look for less.
Design
The finish is all about organic cover: a rich green camo hydrographic that drapes the pistol like foliage, blending tactical function with a survivalist aesthetic. Valve designed it, and it ships with a fitting in-game line: "Look me in the eyes and tell me that's standard issue - Felix Riley, Commanding Officer."
USP-S | Overgrowth (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
The finish's float spans 0.06–0.80, and Minimal Wear occupies the low end just above Factory New. At this grade the green camo stays saturated and the pattern reads intact, with only the lightest wear creeping onto the edges if any at all. It's the value pick for anyone chasing a near-flawless surface without paying the top-grade premium.
USP-S | Overgrowth Rarity
Rarity: Restricted. That's the purple tier, sitting comfortably in the mid-to-upper band of the standard weapon grades — a genuinely uncommon grade to pull from a case.
USP-S | Overgrowth Case and Collection
This finish is part of The Bravo Collection and comes out of the Operation Bravo Case, released alongside Operation Bravo on September 19, 2013. Across the case the Restricted tier pulls at roughly 15.98% (that figure is shared among the tier's skins), and since the Operation Bravo Case has left the active drop pool, supply is capped — buyers pick up most copies on the market rather than by unboxing.
USP-S | Overgrowth Patterns
Overgrowth has no random pattern variation — the green camo hydrographic sits identically on every copy, so no paint seed or "blue gem" is worth chasing. The only things that set copies apart are wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There is a StatTrak™ variant that adds a confirmed-kill counter; it drops from the Operation Bravo Case more rarely and costs more than the standard skin, and its counter is permanent, staying with the item through trades and sales. No Souvenir version was ever made — Souvenir weapons are produced only from Major-tournament packages, and the Bravo Collection has never been a Major drop.
USP-S | Overgrowth Price
Minimal Wear sits just below Factory New on the ladder — high-end money for a USP-S, but a step down from the top-grade premium while looking almost the same. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Minimal Wear worth it over Factory New?
For most buyers, yes. Minimal Wear keeps the green camo saturated and the pattern intact, so it looks nearly identical to Factory New at a glance while costing less. Pay up for Factory New only if you want the surface as flawless as the skin allows; otherwise this is the smarter value.
Does Minimal Wear Overgrowth show any wear?
Very little. Expect at most the faintest scuffing along the edges, nothing that touches the foliage pattern itself. The green stays deep and even, which is why this grade is the go-to for players who want a near-pristine look without the Factory New price tag.
What makes Overgrowth so pricey?
Age and supply, mostly. It comes from the 2013 Operation Bravo Case, which is long out of the active drop pool, so no new copies enter circulation. Combined with a well-liked green camo look, that fixed supply pushes it into grail-tier territory for the USP-S.
