USP-S | Road Rash (Factory New)

The USP-S | Road Rash (Factory New) is a Restricted pistol skin — a rugged gray body stamped with the image of a flying bullet and scuffed back with sandpaper. Factory New is the cleanest grade the finish comes in, showing the artwork with the least surface wear.

Design

Road Rash is built by Valve around an industrial, tactical look: a weathered gray base carrying the printed image of a flying bullet, then deliberately roughed up with sandpaper for a battered, hard-used feel. It's a design that reads as gritty by intention rather than by float.

USP-S | Road Rash (Factory New) Float and Wear

The finish runs the full float scale, 0.00–1.00, and Factory New sits at the very bottom band. At this grade the gray coat looks its most even and the flying-bullet print stays legible with the sharpest edges — the intentional sandpaper texture is part of the art, so even here the skin keeps its worn-in character rather than a factory shine. For a display piece, this is the top of the ladder.

USP-S | Road Rash Rarity

Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier, a mid-high grade that sits above Mil-Spec and below the Classified and Covert grades. It's a solidly uncommon rarity to see attached to a sidearm.

USP-S | Road Rash Case and Collection

Road Rash belongs to The Overpass Collection, introduced with Operation Breakout in June 2014. The Restricted tier as a whole appears at roughly 15.98% (a rate shared across the tier's skins). Because the finish comes from Major-tournament Souvenir packages tied to Overpass rather than an active weapon case, copies are found on the market rather than freshly unboxed.

USP-S | Road Rash Patterns

There's no random pattern roll here — the gray coat and the flying-bullet image land the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to chase. Only wear and float tell one from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

No StatTrak version of Road Rash exists — StatTrak weapons are produced inside weapon cases, and this finish never shipped in one, so there's no kill-counter variant to buy. A Souvenir version does exist, first issued in the ESL One Cologne 2014 Overpass Souvenir Package; those copies carry commemorative sticker and gold-text detailing from the Major they dropped at.

USP-S | Road Rash Price

Factory New is the priciest grade of the finish, sitting at the top of its ladder as the least-worn version available. Within the USP-S lineup it lands in premium territory. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Factory New Road Rash noticeably better than Minimal Wear?

Marginally. Because the design is intentionally weathered with sandpaper, the difference between the top two grades is subtle — Factory New keeps the tidiest edges on the flying-bullet print, but a Minimal Wear copy looks nearly identical for less. Pay up only if you want the best-condition version on the shelf.

What float range does Road Rash have?

It spans the full 0.00–1.00 scale, so all five grades from Factory New through Battle-Scarred exist. Factory New occupies the lowest float band, giving the sharpest look; the deliberately battered texture means even worn grades stay on-theme.

Which gloves suit Road Rash?

Its muted gray, industrial palette pairs best with neutral, worn-looking wraps — gray, olive, or tan hand wraps keep the tactical mood, while black gloves give a clean, high-contrast finish. Steer away from bright colors that fight the grimy tone.
