USP-S | Royal Blue (Battle-Scarred)
The USP-S | Royal Blue (Battle-Scarred) is an Industrial Grade pistol skin with a solid regal-blue coat on the silenced USP, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the most affordable way into a rare finish, trading surface quality for the lowest entry point.
Design
Royal Blue is minimalism itself: one deep blue coat on the slide, free of graphics or decals of any kind. It's a Valve solid-color finish alongside its indigo, crimson and gray siblings, and it ships with a memorable in-game line: "You should smile Felix, you'd have more luck with the ladies if you didn't look like such a dour bastard all the time."
USP-S | Royal Blue (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Battle-Scarred sits at the top of the finish's float span, which is capped at 0.80 rather than the full 1.0 — so even at its roughest, this skin never reaches the most extreme wear a full-range finish would. Expect heavy fading and widespread paint loss on the flat blue, since a solid coat shows every mark; still, the blue holds on as the anchor that keeps the skin readable.
USP-S | Royal Blue Rarity
Rarity: Industrial Grade — the light-blue grade near the foot of the standard weapon tiers. It's a low, common grade carrying a scarce finish, and that contrast is precisely what draws collectors to the skin.
USP-S | Royal Blue Case and Collection
Belonging to The Cobblestone Collection launched with Operation Breakout in July 2014, this finish has no weapon-case source. It came only from Cobblestone Souvenir Packages distributed at Major tournaments, which leaves its supply fixed and tournament-tied. Consequently, buyers pick up copies on the market rather than by opening anything.
USP-S | Royal Blue Patterns
Since the blue coat is a single flat color applied the same on every unit, there's no random pattern variation — no paint seed and no "blue gem" to chase. Copies differ from one another only through their wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
Don't go looking for a StatTrak Royal Blue — it was never produced, because StatTrak weapons come from weapon cases and this finish wasn't in any. A Souvenir version does exist, however, released via Cobblestone Souvenir Packages from the ESL One Cologne 2014 package onward; those Major-drop copies may carry stickers and player tags that add collector value.
USP-S | Royal Blue Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish — the entry-level way to own the royal-blue look for players who prioritize the color over the condition. Because the skin is rare in the first place, though, even this grade stays a high-end purchase. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Royal Blue still recognizable?
Yes. Despite heavy fading and paint loss, the deep blue coat keeps the skin clearly identifiable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting obvious wear in exchange for the lowest price on a rare finish — you keep the color, you just lose the pristine surface.
Why doesn't Battle-Scarred Royal Blue look completely destroyed?
Because the finish's float is capped at 0.80 instead of the full 1.0, its worst copies never hit the most extreme end of the wear scale. The damage is heavy but bounded, so the royal-blue coat stays more legible here than a fully uncapped skin would at its roughest.
Which gloves go with Royal Blue?
The finish's cool, deep-blue base calls for blue or dark gloves — a blue pair ties straight into the coat, while black or gray wraps keep the pairing subtle. It fits right into a blue-focused loadout with other cool-toned gear.
