The USP-S | Sleeping Potion (Field-Tested, FT) is a Restricted pistol skin with a purple camo body and a pearlescent, color-shifting coat, here with a touch of honest wear. Field-Tested is the most common and best-value way to own the finish.
Design
At its heart the design is a purple camo pattern sealed under a pearlescent, light-catching coat that changes tone as the pistol moves — a fantasy-leaning look built on that sheen rather than dense graphics. A fitting in-game line rides along: "A new brew!"
USP-S | Sleeping Potion (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Field-Tested lands in the middle of the scale, about 0.15–0.38 of the finish's 0.00–0.70 range. The slide picks up light scuffing along the edges, but the busy purple camo hides it well and the pearlescent sheen holds up regardless of float. FAQ
Does the Field-Tested finish look worn?
Not much. The purple camo pattern breaks up any scuffing, so a Field-Tested copy reads as tidy to most eyes, with only light edge wear on close inspection. The pearlescent shift isn't tied to float, so the skin's signature glow always comes through.
Is Field-Tested the best value?
For most buyers, yes. It costs clearly less than the higher grades but looks almost identical thanks to the busy camo, and it's the easiest grade to find on the market. Well-Worn (WW) and Battle-Scarred (BS) are cheaper still if you want the lowest entry price.
Will the pearlescent effect still show at this grade?
Yes. The color-shifting coat depends on the surface finish, not on how worn the edges are, so it keeps catching and bending light at Field-Tested. Light scuffs sit mostly on the outline, leaving the shimmer across the body intact.
