USP-S | Whiteout (Factory New)
The USP-S | Whiteout (Factory New) is a Classified pistol skin finished in a single stark coat of solid white. Factory New is the top grade, and on a base this pale it counts for more than usual — nothing disguises a mark on pure white.
Design
Whiteout is about as pared-back as a skin gets: the entire pistol is spray-painted a flat, uniform white, with no graphics, decals, or accent colors to break it up. It's an in-house Valve design that leans on stark simplicity over detail, and it ships with a knowing in-game line: "It looks pure, but looks can be deceiving."
USP-S | Whiteout (Factory New) Float and Wear
The finish runs a float range of 0.06–0.80, and Factory New sits at the very bottom of that scale as the pick of the litter. Because the body is solid white, any blemish stands out far more than it would on a dark skin, so the gap between grades is unusually visible here — at Factory New the coat reads smooth and even, exactly as the design intends. This is the grade for anyone who wants Whiteout without a mark on it.
USP-S | Whiteout Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink tier, second from the top of the standard weapon grades and one rung below Covert. It's an uncommon grade to land.
USP-S | Whiteout Case and Collection
Whiteout belongs to The 2021 Train Collection, which arrived with Operation Riptide in September 2021. The Classified tier accounts for roughly 3.2% of drops (a rate shared across the tier's skins), and as an operation-era collection its supply is finite — most copies now change hands on the market rather than being earned in-game.
USP-S | Whiteout Patterns
There's no pattern variation to chase on Whiteout — the white coat covers the pistol identically on every copy, so no paint seed, phase, or "blue gem" comes into play. Wear and float are the only things that separate one copy from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
Whiteout has no StatTrak version — StatTrak weapons come only from cases, and this finish is a collection drop rather than a case item, so a kill-counter variant was never made. There's no Souvenir edition either: Souvenir weapons are produced solely from Major-tournament packages, and the Train Collection has never been a Major drop.
USP-S | Whiteout Price
Whiteout is the single most valuable USP-S finish, and Factory New sits right at the peak of that ladder — grail-tier money for the sharpest possible copy of an already high-end skin. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Factory New worth the premium on Whiteout?
If condition matters to you, yes. On a solid-white body even light scuffing is obvious, so the jump from Minimal Wear to Factory New is genuinely visible here in a way it isn't on darker skins. You're paying grail-tier money, but you're getting the only grade where the coat looks truly untouched.
Why does wear show more on a white skin?
Scratches, grime, and paint loss all read as darker marks, and they contrast hardest against a pale base. On Whiteout there's no busy graphic or dark color to absorb them, so every bit of wear stands out — which is exactly why the higher grades command such a premium.
Which gloves go with Whiteout?
Its all-white palette is flexible, so it plays nicely with clean neutrals or a single pop of color. White, gray, or light-tone gloves keep the crisp monochrome look, while a bold accent pair lets the stark white act as a backdrop. It anchors a minimalist, high-contrast loadout well.
