USP-S | Whiteout (Field-Tested)

The USP-S | Whiteout (Field-Tested) is a Classified pistol skin in a flat white coat, here carrying a touch of honest wear. Field-Tested is the more affordable route into a grail-tier finish, though on a base this pale the wear is easier to spot than on most skins.

Design

Whiteout keeps it stripped down: the entire USP-S wears a flat, uniform white spray job with no graphics, decals, or color accents at all. It's a Valve in-house creation built on stark simplicity over detail, and it carries a knowing in-game line: "It looks pure, but looks can be deceiving."

USP-S | Whiteout (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

On the 0.06–0.80 float scale, Field-Tested lands in the middle of the pack. Here's where the pale base starts to matter: scratches and grime read plainly against solid white, so a Field-Tested copy shows its wear more openly than a dark skin would at the same float. The white surface picks up a faintly grubby cast around the edges and slide, though the finish stays clearly recognizable. It's the grade where you trade a bit of surface condition for a much friendlier price.

USP-S | Whiteout Rarity

Rarity: Classified — the pink grade, one step beneath Covert and second from the top of the standard weapon tiers. Pulling one is genuinely uncommon.

USP-S | Whiteout Case and Collection

Field-Tested Whiteout comes from The 2021 Train Collection, which launched with Operation Riptide in September 2021. The Classified tier as a group unboxes at about 3.2% (that rate is shared among the tier's skins), and since it's a retired operation collection, supply is capped — buyers pick up the vast majority of copies on the market.

USP-S | Whiteout Patterns

Whiteout carries no random pattern variation: the white coat is applied the same on every copy, so there's no paint seed, phase, or "blue gem" worth hunting. Copies differ from one another only by wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You won't find a StatTrak Whiteout anywhere — StatTrak weapons are minted from cases only, and this collection skin never dropped from a case, so no counter version exists. The same goes for Souvenir: those come strictly from Major-tournament packages, and the Train Collection has never been part of a Major.

USP-S | Whiteout Price

Whiteout is the priciest USP-S finish across the board, and Field-Tested is where the ladder becomes more approachable — cheaper than the two top grades while still carrying grail-tier weight. Does the Field-Tested Whiteout look worn?

Noticeably more than the top grades. The all-white base has nothing to hide scratches or grime behind, so a Field-Tested copy takes on a faintly dirtied look around the edges and slide. It still reads clearly as Whiteout, but this is the grade where the pale finish starts showing its miles.

Is Field-Tested a good deal on Whiteout?

It's the value pick for a grail-tier finish. You give up some surface condition versus Minimal Wear, but you save a real amount, and the skin stays instantly recognizable. If your priority is owning Whiteout at the friendliest realistic price, Field-Tested is the grade to look at.

Which gloves pair with a Field-Tested Whiteout?

The all-white palette stays flexible even with a little wear. Neutral white or gray gloves hold the clean monochrome theme, while a single bold accent color reads well against the pale slide. A minimalist, high-contrast loadout suits the finish at any grade.
