The XM1014 | Black Tie (Battle-Scarred, BS) is a Restricted shotgun skin wearing its black and white chrome finish in its roughest condition. It's the cheapest way into the formal monochrome look, trading gloss for the lowest entry price.
Design
Black Tie gives the shotgun a high-gloss black-and-white chrome treatment, a dressed-up, tuxedo-style finish that stands apart from standard camo. Nextgenz designed it as a community submission, and it's accompanied by a grimly funny in-game line: "We have Izaki and Cocinero. You need them for anything or can I just kill them now?"
XM1014 | Black Tie (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Battle-Scarred sits at the top of the finish's float range, which is capped at 0.75 rather than the full 1.0. Because of that cap, even the roughest copies never reach the most extreme wear — the damage is heavy, with clear scratching and the chrome shine mostly gone, but the black-and-white contrast keeps the design readable rather than lost.

Is the Battle-Scarred Black Tie still recognizable?
Yes. Even with heavy scratching and the chrome shine mostly gone, the black-and-white contrast keeps the formal design readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear for the lowest price, and the strong two-tone scheme means the finish holds its identity.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Black Tie look completely trashed?
