XM1014 | Copperflage (Battle-Scarred)
The XM1014 | Copperflage (Battle-Scarred) is a Mil-Spec shotgun finish with green and brown DDPAT camo and coppery undertones, in its most weathered condition. Battle-Scarred is the cheapest way into the camo look, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price.
Design
The finish keeps a green-and-brown DDPAT camo across the stock, grip, and handguard, warmed by the oxidized-copper tone that the name Copperflage riffs on. Valve made it, and it ships with a playful in-game line: "All day long you'll have good luck."
XM1014 | Copperflage (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Battle-Scarred is the top of the float range, but that range is capped at 0.60 rather than the full 1.0 — so this grade never reaches the extreme battering that a 1.0-float skin would show. Expect heavy scuffing and faded color, yet the DDPAT camo keeps the shotgun readable even here.
XM1014 | Copperflage Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue and most common tier of the standard grades. As the entry rung of the weapon-skin ladder, it keeps this finish inexpensive across every condition.
XM1014 | Copperflage Case and Collection
Copperflage comes from The Boreal Collection, launched with the Spring Forward update in March 2025. It's a Mil-Spec finish, the most common tier in that collection, and because the set is earned via drops and trade-up contracts rather than opened from a case, copies live mostly on the market.
XM1014 | Copperflage Patterns
The camo design is fixed, so the paint-seed number does nothing to the look — every copy is laid out the same, with no seed or "blue gem" worth tracking down. Wear and float are the sole distinctions from one shotgun to another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You won't find a StatTrak edition of this finish. The StatTrak counter is minted only when a skin debuts in a weapon case, and this one never did. There's no Souvenir version to look for either — Souvenir weapons exist only through Major-tournament packages, and The Boreal Collection has never been part of a Major.

Is the Battle-Scarred Copperflage still recognizable?
Yes. Despite heavy scuffing and faded tones, the green-and-brown DDPAT camo keeps the design clear at a glance in-game. Camouflage patterns hide damage better than solid colors do, so this grade is about accepting visible wear for the lowest price, not losing the look.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred grade look completely trashed?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.60 instead of the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear on the scale. Combined with a busy camo base that breaks up scuffing, the shotgun stays more legible here than many lighter, solid-color skins would.
Is this the cheapest way to own Copperflage?
Yes. Battle-Scarred is the lowest grade and therefore the least expensive point of entry for this finish. Since the skin is budget-priced to begin with, this condition gives you the camo look for a genuinely small outlay — ideal if you just want the design in your loadout.
