The XM1014 | Copperflage (Well-Worn) is a Mil-Spec shotgun finish showing green and brown DDPAT camo with copper warmth in a more weathered state. Well-Worn brings clear scuffing and faded color, offering the camo look for a lower price than the tidier grades.

Design

At heart the finish is a green-and-brown DDPAT camo painted onto the stock, grip, and handguard, tinted with the oxidized-copper warmth its name plays on. It's a Valve design, shipping with a lighthearted in-game line: "All day long you'll have good luck."

XM1014 | Copperflage (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

Well-Worn lands high on the 0.00–0.60 float range. Scuffing spreads across the body and the greens and browns lose some of their punch, though the DDPAT camo is a forgiving base and stays recognizable. This grade trades surface freshness for a lower cost of entry.

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier. It's the most common of the standard finish grades and the base level of the skin ladder — the reason this shotgun is priced for any wallet.

Part of The Boreal Collection introduced with the Spring Forward update in March 2025, this is one of the collection's more common Mil-Spec finishes. The set isn't tied to a weapon case — it's built from in-game drops and trade-up contracts — so the market is where most copies end up.

No paint seed shuffles this design: the camo sits the same way on every copy, meaning there's no seed lottery or "blue gem" chase to worry about. Between any two Copperflage shotguns, wear and float are the only differences.

StatTrak & Souvenir

This finish has no StatTrak counterpart. A StatTrak counter only appears when a skin is released inside a weapon case, which this Boreal finish never was. It has no Souvenir version either — those are dealt out solely through Major-tournament packages, and this collection has never been a Major drop.

Well-Worn sits near the bottom of this finish's ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget route to the camo for players who won't pay the mid-grade rate. How worn does the Well-Worn Copperflage look?

Noticeably. Expect visible scuffing across the body and duller greens and browns compared with the cleaner grades. The DDPAT camo is a busy base, though, so it disguises damage fairly well and the shotgun still reads as Copperflage in-game rather than looking outright trashed.

Is Well-Worn worth it over Field-Tested?

Only if price is your main concern. Field-Tested looks a fair bit fresher for a small step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the camo as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way to Battle-Scarred.

Does the camo hide the wear well?

Reasonably well. Digital camouflage patterns like DDPAT break up the surface visually, so scuffs blend into the green-and-brown design more than they would on a solid-color skin. Well-Worn still shows clear weathering, but the pattern keeps the shotgun looking intentional rather than beaten up.
