XM1014 | Halftone Shift (Minimal Wear)

XM1014 | Halftone Shift (Minimal Wear)

The XM1014 | Halftone Shift (Minimal Wear) is a Mil-Spec shotgun with a gray body under a multicolored halftone print. Minimal Wear holds the dot-pattern graphic almost fully intact, a small step below the top grade at a gentler price.

Design

The finish sets a multicolored halftone graphic — dense dots that shade and shift like printed artwork — over a muted gray shotgun. It's a Valve design with a clean, graphic-arts feel, carried right down to its quirky tag about a zoo that displays art instead of animals.

XM1014 | Halftone Shift (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear

On the finish's 0.00–0.60 float scale, Minimal Wear falls in the low band just above Factory New. Wear is minimal — a touch at the edges at most — so the halftone dots and color gradients stay bold. For a lot of buyers this grade is nearly indistinguishable from the top one while costing a bit less.

XM1014 | Halftone Shift Rarity

This finish carries the Mil-Spec Grade classification — the blue tier, and the most common of the colored weapon grades. Skins in this class are abundant and cheap to acquire.

XM1014 | Halftone Shift Case and Collection

The shotgun belongs to The Graphic Design Collection, released alongside The Armory update in October 2024. Being a Mil-Spec skin, it's among the most common finishes in the collection, which keeps it easy to find and inexpensive on the market.

XM1014 | Halftone Shift Patterns

Because the design is fixed, the paint seed has no bearing on the print — the halftone dots appear the same on every copy. No blue-gem or rare seed exists to hunt, so the only meaningful variable when buying is the wear level.

StatTrak & Souvenir

No StatTrak edition of this finish was made, since StatTrak is applied only to case-unboxed skins and this collection has no case. Souvenir copies are absent as well — those are produced strictly for Major-tournament packages, and this shotgun never appeared in one.

XM1014 | Halftone Shift Price

Minimal Wear sits just under Factory New on the ladder while looking almost the same, which makes it a shrewd value grade. Within an affordable mid-tier finish, it's a comfortable, low-cost buy. Available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is Minimal Wear the smart value pick?

For most buyers, yes. It looks nearly identical to Factory New — the halftone print stays bold and the colors punchy — but typically costs a little less. When you want near-top condition without paying the premium for the very best grade, Minimal Wear is the sensible middle ground on this shotgun.

How much wear shows at this grade?

Very little. Any scuffing is confined to the edges and easy to overlook, so the halftone graphic reads as fresh in-game. If you want the print looking close to how it left the design table but don't need the absolute top grade, Minimal Wear covers that nicely.

Can I get a StatTrak Halftone Shift?

No. This shotgun exists only as a regular finish, with no StatTrak and no Souvenir version. StatTrak counters attach exclusively to skins unboxed from cases, and The Graphic Design Collection has none, so a kill-tracking edition of this finish was never created.
