★ Bayonet | Marble Fade (Minimal Wear)
The ★ Bayonet | Marble Fade (Minimal Wear) is a Covert ★ knife finish built from black and silver metallic paints swirled with a marbleizing medium and candy coated in three colors. Minimal Wear is the lower of only two grades this finish reaches, still landing close to the top of its narrow float range.
Design
The swirl comes from black and silver metallic paints run through a marbleizing medium, then a three-color candy coat over the top — each copy's arrangement is unique. It ships with the flavor line "The blade is made of many colors, but soon it all looks red."
★ Bayonet | Marble Fade (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
Because the finish is capped between 0.00 and 0.08, Minimal Wear is as worn as a Marble Fade bayonet ever gets — a full-range skin at this float would already look rough, but here the blade still reads close to mint. It's a small step down from Factory New rather than a heavily aged grade. Minimal Wear covers about 0.07–0.08 on the float scale.
Bayonet | Marble Fade Rarity
Rarity: Covert ★, the rare special ("knife") tier that stands above every regular weapon grade in a case. That scarcity holds regardless of which of the two wears a given copy lands on.
Bayonet | Marble Fade Case and Collection
This finish comes from the Chroma family of cases specifically — the Chroma Case, Chroma 2 Case, and Chroma 3 Case. Across the board, the rare-special tier pulls at about 0.26% per case, which is why most copies change hands on the market instead of coming from a fresh unbox.
Bayonet Marble Fade Patterns
The pattern on a Marble Fade is set by the paint seed, and specific arrangements carry real premiums over an average copy. Fire & Ice — red and blue flames meeting cleanly on the blade — is the top grail, with Max Fire (red-dominant) and Max Ice (blue-dominant) also chased by collectors. That seed never changes with wear, so a Minimal Wear copy with a strong pattern still shows it clearly, since the finish stays close to mint at this float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
This knife is also available as a StatTrak™ version, adding a kill counter that sticks with the item permanently through every trade or sale. Souvenir versions were never made for it — knives simply don't appear in Major-tournament souvenir packages, regardless of finish.
Bayonet | Marble Fade Price
Minimal Wear runs a step below Factory New on the Marble Fade's price ladder, making it the more accessible of the finish's two grades while still landing in the mid-tier among this knife's finishes as a whole. A grail pattern like Fire & Ice matters more here than the wear grade does. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Minimal Wear a big downgrade from Factory New on the Marble Fade?
Not really. Since the finish is capped at a 0.08 float, Minimal Wear still sits well inside near-mint territory — it's a modest step down, not a visibly worn skin. The gap is far smaller than on a full-range bayonet finish.
What is the best Bayonet Marble Fade pattern or seed?
Fire & Ice is the grail — red and blue flames meeting cleanly on the edge — and it commands a large premium over an ordinary copy. Max Fire (red-dominant) and Max Ice (blue-dominant) are also prized. The pattern is fixed by the paint seed for the copy's whole life, so it never shifts as the knife wears.
What are the best gloves for the Bayonet | Marble Fade?
Since Marble Fade mixes red, blue, and silver tones depending on the copy's pattern, gloves in a bold red or blue can echo whichever color dominates, while a black or gray pair lets the blade's swirl stay the focal point. For the best Bayonet Marble Fade glove combo, pick up whichever hue leans strongest in your copy's pattern.
