★ Flip Knife | Freehand (Well-Worn)
The ★ Flip Knife | Freehand (Well-Worn) carries the same fixed Covert ★ black-and-purple design at a higher, but still capped, float. Well-Worn is the second most-worn grade this finish reaches, one step above the bottom of its price ladder.
Design
Freehand's identity comes from a black-and-purple paint job with a metallic marker worked into it, and that combination stays visible even as the surface ages. The layout itself never shifts between copies — wear is the only variable at play.
★ Flip Knife | Freehand (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Freehand's float range tops out at 0.48 instead of the usual 1.00, and Well-Worn sits in the upper part of that shortened range. There's visible surface wear against the black-and-purple paint here, but because the whole finish is float-capped, it still lands milder than Well-Worn on a full-range knife. Well-Worn occupies the 0.38–0.45 float band.
Flip Knife | Freehand Rarity
This is a Covert ★ item, the rare special ("knife") tier that ranks above every ordinary weapon grade in the cases it comes from. Wear grade has no bearing on that rarity — it's set the moment the item type is determined.
Flip Knife | Freehand Case and Collection
No single collection is behind this finish — it opens from the Gamma Case and the Gamma 2 Case instead. Both cases share the roughly 0.26% rare-special ("knife") pull rate, which is why the secondary market is the usual way people end up owning one.
Flip Knife | Freehand Patterns
Since Freehand's design is fixed, there's no seed-driven pattern to look for on a Well-Worn copy or any other grade — the black-and-purple artwork and metallic-marker detail are identical across the board. Float is the only thing distinguishing this copy from a cleaner one.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ version of this finish is available, tracking confirmed kills for good and carrying that number through every future trade or sale. There's no Souvenir counterpart, as knives are never part of Major-tournament souvenir packages regardless of case.
Flip Knife | Freehand Price
Well-Worn sits near the lower end of the Freehand price ladder, just above Battle-Scarred, making it one of the more accessible grades within an already accessible finish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Well-Worn very beat up on the Flip Knife Freehand?
Less than you'd expect. Because the finish's float never goes past 0.48, Well-Worn here is milder than a Well-Worn on a full-range knife — the black-and-purple paint shows real wear but doesn't reach the roughest end of the scale.
What's the cheapest way to get the Freehand look?
Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred sit at the bottom of the Freehand price ladder while still showing the same fixed black-and-purple design, just with more surface wear. They're the way to grab the finish's look without paying for a low-float copy.
Does StatTrak change anything about how worn the knife looks?
No — StatTrak only adds a permanent kill counter to the item; it doesn't change the float, wear, or the fixed black-and-purple artwork in any way. A StatTrak Well-Worn Freehand looks exactly like a non-StatTrak one at the same float.
