★ Skeleton Knife | Marble Fade (Minimal Wear)
The ★ Skeleton Knife | Marble Fade (Minimal Wear) carries the same black-and-silver marbleized, candy-coated finish, just at the upper end of this knife's narrow float range. It's the more attainable of the two grades this finish is offered in.
Design
Black and silver metallic paints are worked into a marbleizing medium and finished with a three-color candy coat, giving each copy its own swirling arrangement of color. The finish carries a memorable flavor line: "The blade is made of many colors, but soon it all looks red."
★ Skeleton Knife | Marble Fade (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
This finish never drops below Minimal Wear's ceiling — the float caps out at 0.08, so Field-Tested and rougher grades simply don't exist. In float terms, Minimal Wear covers the 0.07–0.08 band, and at that range the candy coat still reads glossy with only the slightest hint of texture on close inspection.
Skeleton Knife | Marble Fade Rarity
This is a Covert ★ finish, the rare special ("knife") tier rather than an ordinary weapon skin, representing the gold-tier drop from its case pool. Pulling any knife at all is a genuine rarity.
Skeleton Knife | Marble Fade Case and Collection
Unlike this knife's other finishes, which spread across several cases, Marble Fade comes specifically from the Fever Case. The knife tier as a category drops at roughly 0.26% per opening, which is why most players buy this finish on the market rather than chase it from cases directly.
Skeleton Knife | Marble Fade Marble Fade Patterns
Marble Fade's swirl is entirely seed-driven, and buyers do chase specific layouts even on Minimal Wear copies. "Fire & Ice" — a clean, symmetrical split of red and blue — is the top pattern and trades at a real premium, with "Max Fire" and "Max Ice" close behind for players who prefer a dominant color. Because the pattern is fixed at generation and doesn't shift with wear, a Minimal Wear copy with a great seed can still be a genuine showpiece. Ordinary, muddled swirls make up the bulk of the market.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak version of this finish is available alongside the standard knife, adding a permanent kill counter that follows the item through every trade or sale. Souvenir copies don't exist for knives at all, since Major-tournament souvenir packages never include knife items.
Skeleton Knife | Marble Fade Price
Minimal Wear is the more affordable of this finish's two grades, priced below Factory New on the Marble Fade's own ladder. It lands as a mid-tier finish for this knife overall — comfortably below the grail-tier options, though still a premium item by any normal standard. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the pattern matter more than the wear grade here?
Yes, arguably more. Since both available grades sit under a 0.08 float cap, the surface itself looks close to identical between them, but the paint-seed pattern varies enormously — a "Fire & Ice" Minimal Wear copy can be worth far more than an ordinary-pattern Factory New. Check the pattern before worrying about the wear grade.
Is Minimal Wear a good value pick on the Marble Fade?
Generally yes, since it typically costs less than Factory New while looking nearly identical at this float range. The main reason to pay up for Factory New is bragging rights on the lowest float number, not a visible difference in the swirl itself.
Why doesn't this finish have a Field-Tested or Battle-Scarred version?
The Marble Fade is float-capped at 0.08 across every copy ever generated, so it simply never reaches the float thresholds those grades require. Factory New and Minimal Wear are the only two conditions that can exist for this finish.
