What the StatTrak™ counter does

The StatTrak™ AK-47 | The Outsiders (Battle-Scarred, BS) is the StatTrak™ copy of this skin — the same Classified finish, the same look, with a kill counter built into the model. Over a dark body, The Outsiders lays down a crude, graffiti-style character in bright colors, the whole thing reading like raw, hand-sprayed street art. Battle-Scarred covers everything from 0.45 up to 1.00 float — the most heavily worn grade and the cheapest way into the skin.

What StatTrak™ changes about the price of the AK-47 | The Outsiders

The counter logs every confirmed kill you get with it and keeps the running total on the model. It belongs to the item and not to your account, so it travels with the skin through every trade and sale, and nothing sets it back to zero. A StatTrak™ Swap Tool moves a count between two StatTrak™ items of the same type, which is as close to a reset as the game allows.

Where a StatTrak™ copy comes from

A StatTrak™ copy is far scarcer than a plain one at the same finish and exterior, so it normally costs more. How much more follows the finish and the float rather than the number on the counter — a high kill count is a curiosity, not a price driver.

FAQ

Part of The Gallery Collection, The Outsiders drops from the Gallery Case — the case that shipped with the Armory update on October 2, 2024. StatTrak™ is settled at the drop: a copy either leaves the case with a counter or never has one, and it cannot be added afterwards.

Can the StatTrak counter on the AK-47 | The Outsiders be reset?

No. The count only moves one way and stays with the item through every trade and sale. A StatTrak™ Swap Tool moves a count between two StatTrak™ items of the same type, which is as close to a reset as the game allows. It still cannot lower the number.

Does StatTrak change how the AK-47 | The Outsiders looks?

No, apart from the counter on the model. The finish, the pattern and the float range are identical to the plain version, so at the same exterior the two look the same in hand.
