The AK-47 | The Outsiders (Battle-Scarred) is a Classified rifle skin with a crude, street-art character illustration in bright colors over a dark body, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the design, trading pristine looks for the lowest entry price.

Design

Over a dark body, The Outsiders lays down a crude, graffiti-style character in bright colors, the whole thing reading like raw, hand-sprayed street art. It's the work of community designer m03h, and its in-game flavor line fits the mood: "The Ts on the bus win rounds and rounds, rounds and rounds, rounds and rounds."

AK-47 | The Outsiders (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body, and the finer linework of the artwork is worn thin in places. The bright colors keep the character illustration anchored so the skin stays recognizable. This finish is capped at 0.90 rather than the full scale, so it stops just short of the absolute roughest a skin can get.

Rarity: Classified — the pink-tier grade that sits one rung below Covert, second from the top of the standard weapon skins. Pulling one from a case is genuinely uncommon.

Is the Battle-Scarred Outsiders still recognizable?

Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the bright colors of the character illustration keep the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the artwork entirely — the bold palette does a lot of the heavy lifting here.

Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Outsiders look completely trashed?

Because the finish is float-capped at 0.90 rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear. Combined with a busy, colorful design that draws the eye to the artwork rather than the scuffing, the skin stays more legible at Battle-Scarred than many finer, cleaner-looking finishes do.
