USP-S | Overgrowth (Battle-Scarred)
The USP-S | Overgrowth (Battle-Scarred) is a Restricted pistol skin in a lush green camo hydrographic, here in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into a sought-after foliage finish, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price.
Design
The finish keeps to organic camouflage: a rich green camo hydrographic draped over the silenced USP, foliage-like cover built on natural tones rather than busy graphics, with a survivalist streak. Valve designed it, and it ships with a fitting in-game line: "Look me in the eyes and tell me that's standard issue - Felix Riley, Commanding Officer."
USP-S | Overgrowth (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
The finish is capped at a float of 0.80, and Battle-Scarred occupies the very top of that band. Here the camo wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the slide and body, and the green thins in places. Because the cap stops short of the full 1.0 scale, though, this grade never reaches the most extreme wear a full-range skin would, and the dense pattern keeps the foliage look legible even at its roughest.
USP-S | Overgrowth Rarity
Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier, holding the mid-to-upper band of the standard weapon grades. It's a genuinely uncommon grade to pull from a case.
USP-S | Overgrowth Case and Collection
The skin is part of The Bravo Collection and drops from the Operation Bravo Case, released together with Operation Bravo on September 19, 2013. The Restricted tier as a whole drops about 15.98% of the time from the case (that rate is shared across the tier's skins), and with the Operation Bravo Case out of the active drop pool, supply is fixed — the market, rather than unboxing, is where most copies come from.
USP-S | Overgrowth Patterns
Overgrowth has no random pattern roll — the green camo hydrographic is placed identically on every copy, so there's nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. The only differences between copies come down to wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There's also a StatTrak™ version that adds a confirmed-kill counter; it comes from the Operation Bravo Case as a scarcer, costlier drop than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. No Souvenir variant exists — Souvenir weapons are produced solely from Major-tournament packages, and the Bravo Collection has never been a Major drop.
USP-S | Overgrowth Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run the Overgrowth design for players who value the look over the condition. If you want the green camo USP for as little as possible, this is the way in, though even here it stays a high-end pistol. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Battle-Scarred Overgrowth still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the dense green camo keeps the foliage look readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear for the lowest price, not losing the design — the busy pattern absorbs damage better than a solid-color finish would.
Why doesn't Battle-Scarred Overgrowth look completely trashed?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.80 rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear. Paired with a busy camo pattern that breaks up scratches, the skin stays more legible here than many finishes do at this grade.
Which gloves go with Overgrowth?
The green camo suits an earthy, outdoors loadout, so olive, forest-green, or camo-pattern gloves work best. A green pair echoes the foliage tone, while plain dark or tan wraps keep the tactical, survivalist feel — both play into the natural-camouflage theme the skin is built around.
