XM1014 | VariCamo Blue (Factory New)
The XM1014 | VariCamo Blue (Factory New, FN) is a Mil-Spec shotgun skin — a blue military camo pattern applied as a hydrographic across the shell. Factory New is the top grade, showing the camo at its most saturated before any wear breaks it up.
Design
The finish wraps the shotgun in a VariCamo-patterned hydrographic in cool blue tones, a clean tactical camo rather than a graphic or decal. It's a Valve-made finish, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "Rebuilding only comes in the wake of destruction."
XM1014 | VariCamo Blue (Factory New) Float and Wear
Floats on this finish run from 0.00 to 0.50, and Factory New occupies the lowest slice of that range. Here the blue reads deep and even and the camo pattern stays crisp edge to edge, with no scuffing to interrupt it. It's the grade to reach for if you want the camo exactly as designed.
XM1014 | VariCamo Blue Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier, the base rung of the colored weapon grades. It's a common class, which keeps the finish widely accessible.
XM1014 | VariCamo Blue Case and Collection
This finish debuted with The Overpass Collection during Operation Breakout in June 2014. It isn't tied to a weapon case — the regular version comes as a collection drop, so there's no per-case odds figure attached.
XM1014 | VariCamo Blue Patterns
There's no random pattern roll here — the blue camo lands the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt. Wear and float are the only things separating one shell from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
This finish exists as a regular version and a Souvenir version. There's no StatTrak edition — StatTrak is minted only inside weapon cases, and this finish was never packaged in one. Souvenir copies come from Major-tournament packages, starting with the ESL One Cologne 2014 Overpass package and continuing through later Major souvenir packages.
XM1014 | VariCamo Blue Price
Factory New sits at the top of this finish's price ladder as the cleanest grade available — a premium pick within the XM1014's Mil-Spec offerings, though still an approachable buy overall. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Factory New worth it here?
If you want the blue camo at full saturation, yes. Factory New shows the deepest color and the sharpest pattern edges of any grade, with no scuffing at all. That said, the camo hides light wear reasonably well, so a Minimal Wear (MW) copy runs it close for a little less money.
What gloves pair with VariCamo Blue?
Its cool blue camo makes blue or navy gloves the natural match, tying the loadout together around the shotgun's dominant tone. Gray or black gloves also work if you'd rather keep things neutral and let the blue camo carry the color on its own.
Does the paint seed change the look?
No. VariCamo Blue uses a fixed design, so the camo pattern appears the same on every copy regardless of seed. There's no rare variant or blue-gem roll to chase — buyers pick purely on wear grade and float value rather than hunting a specific pattern index.
