How to Trade Up to a Knife?
If your priority is to get a knife or a pair of gloves, then you’re going to have five Covert skins of the same type (meaning that you cannot have both regular and StatTrak skins in one contract). Once you have all five, you just go to the Trade Up Contracts tab, select them and proceed with the trade-up. Also, make sure that you don’t buy specific StatTrak skins for a glove case, as the game won’t allow you to create a contract. While this is a pretty easy task to pull off for someone who’s had some experience with trading or collecting skins, it can be overwhelming for a player who’s just getting started with the game. In that case, we have an article on the recent Trade Up shenanigans in our blog and a detailed guide on the Trade Up contracts, so make sure to check that out if you’re unfamiliar with the way Trade Up Contracts work.
What Skins Give Which Knives?
Remember to use 5 skins from one collection to maximize the chance to get a specific knife. Of course, it is not something that you absolutely have to do, but you risk less getting a knife you’re not really interested in.
