AK-47 | Fuel Injector (Battle-Scarred)
The AK-47 | Fuel Injector (Battle-Scarred) is a Covert rifle skin with a bright yellow body and a magazine custom painted to look like machinery, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into a bold Covert AK, trading a pristine finish for the lowest entry price.
Design
Built by community designer emu, Fuel Injector finishes the rifle body in bright yellow and turns the magazine into custom machinery-styled detailing, an industrial, automotive look that plays up that bold color throughout. It even carries a matching in-game line: "Live your life a quarter mag at a time."
AK-47 | Fuel Injector (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body, and on the bright yellow base that wear is the most pronounced of any grade. The core color still keeps the skin recognizable as a Fuel Injector, but the finish looks well used. This is the grade for players who care about the look and the low price more than pristine condition, and it still shows plenty of that signature yellow.
AK-47 | Fuel Injector Rarity
Rarity: Covert, the red tier. As the very top of the standard weapon grades and a step above Classified, it's the rarest standard rarity a case can drop.
AK-47 | Fuel Injector Case and Collection
The AK-47 | Fuel Injector belongs to The Wildfire Collection and comes from the Operation Wildfire Case, released during Operation Wildfire in February 2016. The Covert tier overall drops around 0.64% of the time from the case, and with the Operation Wildfire Case retired from the active drop pool, the supply is fixed — the market, not unboxing, is where most copies come from.
AK-47 | Fuel Injector Patterns
The AK-47 | Fuel Injector carries no random pattern variation whatsoever; the yellow body and machinery-style magazine are placed the same on each copy, meaning there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. Only wear and float tell one Fuel Injector apart from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You can find a StatTrak™ AK-47 | Fuel Injector, complete with a confirmed-kill counter; it's a rarer and pricier drop from the Operation Wildfire Case than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent, carrying over when the item changes hands by trade or sale. There's no Souvenir edition — Major-tournament packages are the only source of Souvenir weapons, and the Operation Wildfire Case never served as a Major drop.
AK-47 | Fuel Injector Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run this Covert design for players who care more about the look than the condition. If you want the bright yellow AK for as little as possible, this is the way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Battle-Scarred still recognizable?
Yes. Despite heavy scuffing and paint loss, the bright yellow body keeps the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting the most visible wear in exchange for the lowest price on a Covert AK, not losing the look entirely — the color still carries the skin.
Why does wear show more at Battle-Scarred?
Because the base is bright yellow, scratches and paint loss contrast sharply against the color, so damage stands out more than it would on a dark skin. At Battle-Scarred that effect is at its strongest, which is exactly why this grade is the cheapest — you're trading clean looks for the lowest price.
Which gloves go with the AK-47 | Fuel Injector?
Its bright yellow body suits a warm, high-visibility loadout, so yellow or tan gloves tie in with the color, while black gloves give a strong contrast that lets the yellow pop. Keep the rest of the loadout on warm or industrial tones and the Fuel Injector becomes the centerpiece.
