AK-47 | Vulcan (Minimal Wear)
The AK-47 | Vulcan (Minimal Wear) is a Covert rifle skin with a sleek, sports-inspired finish in blue, white, and gunmetal black. Minimal Wear keeps almost all the crispness of Factory New for a bit less, making it a popular way to own the Vulcan without paying the top-grade premium.
Design
Blue and white panels sit over a gunmetal-black body, giving Vulcan a sleek, sports-inspired finish built on clean geometry instead of busy graphics. The artist jim´s created it as a community submission, mixing mechanical, industrial cues with a modern, almost racing-livery feel. Few AK finishes end up looking this sleek.
AK-47 | Vulcan (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
At Minimal Wear the skin falls in the 0.07–0.15 float band, just below Factory New. The blue and white panels still read clean and bright, with only the faintest wear on the sharpest edges if any shows at all. For most players the difference from Factory New is hard to spot in-game, which makes Minimal Wear a smart middle ground between looks and cost.
AK-47 | Vulcan Rarity
Rarity: Covert — the red tier. It's the top grade of standard weapon skins, ranking above Classified, and Covert finishes are some of the rarest things you can pull from a case. That scarcity does a lot to explain the Vulcan's standing.
AK-47 | Vulcan Case and Collection
Belonging to The Huntsman Collection, the AK-47 | Vulcan comes out of the Huntsman Weapon Case, which arrived with the "The Hunt Begins" update in May 2014. Across the case the Covert tier lands about 0.64% of the time, and since the Huntsman Case left the active drop pool long ago, its supply is fixed — so most copies are traded rather than unboxed.
AK-47 | Vulcan Patterns
There's no random pattern variation on the AK-47 | Vulcan — the blue-and-white layout falls identically on every copy, so no paint seed or "blue gem" is worth chasing. The only things that set one Vulcan apart from another are wear and float, which keeps buying straightforward: choose the condition and you know exactly what you'll get.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There is a StatTrak™ AK-47 | Vulcan, and it adds a confirmed-kill counter; as a rarer and pricier drop than the plain skin, it keeps a permanent count that carries over whenever the item is traded or sold. A Souvenir version doesn't exist — those come only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Huntsman Collection has never been part of a Major.
AK-47 | Vulcan Price
Minimal Wear sits near the top of the Vulcan ladder, just below Factory New and above Field-Tested — a high-end pick that shaves a little off the pristine-grade premium. It's still a grail-tier finish within the AK-47 lineup, so this is far from a budget buy. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How much cleaner does Minimal Wear look than Field-Tested?
Noticeably crisper. At Minimal Wear the panel edges stay sharp and the blue and white hold their saturation, while Field-Tested picks up visible scratching on the receiver and magazine. Both stay recognizable, but Minimal Wear is the pick if you want the Vulcan looking close to fresh without paying Factory New money.
Is Minimal Wear a good value grade?
For many buyers, yes. It costs less than Factory New while looking almost identical at normal in-game distances, so you keep the clean, sporty aesthetic without the top-grade premium. It's still a high-end skin overall, but among the cleaner conditions it's the sweeter deal for the money.
Which gloves go with the AK-47 | Vulcan?
Its blue-and-white palette suits a cool-toned loadout, so blue, white, or gray gloves work best — a blue pair echoes the panels while white or gray wraps keep the cool, sporty vibe. Pairing it with other blue or gunmetal skins pulls the whole loadout into a tight, coordinated look.
