AWP | Atheris (Battle-Scarred)
The AWP | Atheris (Battle-Scarred) is a Restricted sniper skin with a green-and-blue bush viper over a black body, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the snake design, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price.
Design
Atheris keeps things bold and simple: a green-and-blue bush viper coiled over a black frame, a reptilian look that trades busy graphics for the contrast between bright scales and a dark base. Designed for the community by the artist Graff, it ships with a fitting caption: "As deadly as it is beautiful."
AWP | Atheris (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body — though the black base hides more of it than a pale skin would. The viper survives as the detail that keeps the design readable. Even at its roughest the snake stays identifiable, which is why this grade still works for players chasing the lowest price.
AWP | Atheris Rarity
Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier, ranked above Mil-Spec and just beneath Classified on the standard weapon-skin scale. It's a middle grade: less common than the case's blue skins, but well short of the scarcity of the pink and red tiers.
AWP | Atheris Case and Collection
Atheris is part of The Prisma Collection and unboxes from the Prisma Case, which launched on March 13, 2019. As a Restricted it shares the roughly 16% purple-tier drop chance across the case's Restricted skins — that figure applies to the whole tier, not to this finish alone — making it a reasonably common pull that still changes hands on the market more often than it comes fresh from a case.
AWP | Atheris Patterns
Because the bush viper sits the same way on every copy, Atheris has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or blue gem to seek out. Wear and float are all that set one unit apart from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ variant exists as well, adding a confirmed-kill counter as a rarer, more expensive drop from the Prisma Case; the counter logs kills permanently and stays with the item through trades and sales. A Souvenir edition was never produced, because Souvenir weapons come only through Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Prisma Case was never part of a Major drop.
AWP | Atheris Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run the snake design for players who care about the look over the condition. If you want the green-and-blue viper AWP for as little as possible, this is the way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred version still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the black base and the bright green-and-blue viper keep the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the snake that makes the skin what it is.
Why doesn't it look completely destroyed?
Two reasons. The base is black, so it disguises a good deal of the damage that a light skin would put on full show, and the viper artwork stays intact regardless of float. The result is a copy that reads more legibly than the grade name suggests, even at the top of the wear scale.
Which gloves go with Atheris?
Its green-and-blue snake on black suits a cool, natural loadout, so green or teal gloves land best — a green pair picks up the viper's scales, while blue wraps echo the cooler highlights. Black or dark gloves also work if you'd rather the skin's bright coil stay the loudest piece.
