AWP | Graphite (Minimal Wear)
The AWP | Graphite (Minimal Wear) is a Classified sniper skin covered in a faceted carbon-graphite finish, its metallic-gray panels set over a chrome base. Minimal Wear keeps that low-poly surface looking nearly untouched while asking a step less than the top grade — and since the float caps at 0.12, it's the more worn of only two conditions the finish comes in.
Design
The finish covers the AWP in a low-polygon pattern of metallic grays over a chrome undercoat, the reflectivity varying panel to panel so the surface glints in some facets and stays matte in others. Designed in-house by Valve and described in-game as a memento from Agency, it carries the line "Pencils down, hands up." The look trades busy graphics for a quiet, industrial carbon feel.
AWP | Graphite (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
At Minimal Wear the skin picks up only the faintest abrasion, usually along the scope housing and the raised edges of the body. The dark gray base masks what little wear there is, so at a glance this grade still reads deep and reflective. Because the finish is float-capped at 0.12, this is the lowest condition it reaches — there's no Field-Tested or heavier grade below it.
AWP | Graphite Rarity
Rarity: Classified, the pink tier. It ranks just under Covert and second-highest among the standard weapon grades, which makes it an uncommon drop to see land straight out of a case.
AWP | Graphite Case and Collection
Part of The Bravo Collection, Graphite is unboxed from the Operation Bravo Case, which launched on September 19, 2013 with Operation Bravo. Across the case the Classified tier pulls at about 3.2% (that odds figure is spread among the tier's skins), and because this early case has long left the active drop pool, its supply is capped — buyers pick up most copies on the market instead of unboxing them.
AWP | Graphite Patterns
There's no random pattern roll on Graphite: the polygon facets land identically on every copy, so no paint seed or blue gem is worth chasing. The only things that separate one from the next are wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There is a StatTrak™ Graphite, which tracks confirmed kills on a built-in counter; it drops more rarely and costs more than the standard skin, and its counter is permanent, following the item through trades and sales. No Souvenir version was ever made — Souvenir weapons are produced only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Operation Bravo Case has never been a Major drop.
AWP | Graphite Price
Minimal Wear settles just beneath Factory New on the finish's price ladder — a small saving for a look that stays nearly as detailed, which makes it the sweet-spot grade for most buyers. It's still a premium AWP finish rather than a budget one. Grab it quickly and securely on Skin.Land whenever you want to add it to your loadout.
FAQ
Does the Minimal Wear Graphite look worn?
Barely. Any abrasion at this grade is light and sits on the scope area and hard edges, and the dark metallic-gray base does a good job of hiding it. To most eyes the finish still looks close to top condition, so unless you're inspecting up close, the difference from Factory New is hard to spot in-game.
Is Minimal Wear the best value grade?
For a lot of buyers, yes. It costs less than Factory New but keeps the metallic surface looking almost identical, since the gray base disguises the small amount of wear it carries. With only two grades in the finish's range, Minimal Wear is the affordable entry point without dropping any real detail.
What conditions does Graphite come in?
The finish is float-capped at 0.12, so it exists only in Factory New and Minimal Wear — there's no Field-Tested, Well-Worn, or Battle-Scarred version. That narrow range means every copy stays legible and reflective, and the choice between grades comes down to whether you want the surface flawless or just near it.
