The AWP | Gungnir (Well-Worn) is a Covert sniper skin — the pearlescent blue-and-ivory grail with Odin's spear down the rifle, here in a more weathered state. Well-Worn is one of the lower grades, trading some of the finish's shine for a friendlier way into an otherwise sky-high AWP skin.

Design

Gungnir remakes the AWP as an artifact of Norse legend — a custom-painted body in pearlescent blue and ivory, shot through with cyan and white, with Odin's storied spear travelling down the weapon. The finish is Valve's own in-house creation, matched to a fitting line of flavor text: "A weapon for the Allfather."

At Well-Worn the finish shows heavier scuffing and paint thinning across the body, and the pearlescent glow is noticeably muted next to the higher grades. Even so, the spear and the blue-to-ivory coloring survive as the anchor that keeps the skin readable as Gungnir. Because Covert is the rarest standard grade, real copies stay extremely scarce, and now that the operation is long over the supply is fixed, so nearly all of them trade on the open market.

Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
